Announcement - 10/21/2019 - Legacy Server Data Available for Download

Hello Wizards!

Just a friendly reminder that our servers will be down starting today until Wednesday, October 23rd for server wipes in preparation for our full launch coming Friday, November 1st!

For players interested in continuing to play on our legacy servers, we've made the server data available for download here:

http://blueislestudios.com/citadelgame/ServerBackups/

Players can download this data, put it in the save folder of their game and continue playing a single player game. Alternatively, players can also host a game using that data while renting a private server and load that data into the save folder.

We hope you enjoy and please feel free to let us know if you encounter any issues with the download!

Announcement - Brand New Quests, Server Maintenance, VoIP Mouth Movements More

Greetings Wizards and Conjurers!

We have some exciting news to announce - a huge new quests update is coming early next year as a free DLC!

Since Citadel first entered Early Access, players have been intrigued and mystified by the lore of Ignus; scavenging for clues left throughout the world for them to discover. Now, players can can delve deep into the history of Ignus' ancient factions and magics; participating in activities across the land with new characters and challenges.

"Ignus' tumultuous past is coming to life, awaiting a hero courageous and bold enough to deliver the land from the impending descent of evil. Learn the dark, mysterious history of the land and delve into its many ancient secrets. Meet unique personalities and assist them in their struggle for knowledge and supremacy. Wield the mighty force of the Godking's power, or plunge into the chilling depths of chaos and anarchy to make Ignus yours. A story needs to be told, will you be the one to tell it?"

Citadel is the ultimate fantasy sandbox and aims to provide players with the tools to tell their own stories. With the addition of these new narrative driven quests and more post-launch content to come, we hope to enrich the Citadel experience more than ever before. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to hearing all the stories you have to tell.

Server Maintenance
As we leave Early Access, we would like to remind players that servers will be going down and getting wiped as of Monday, October 21st at 7am EST. Servers will be back up Wednesday, October 23rd (time TBD) in preparation for our full launch on Friday, November 1st. We'll have more to share on our launch day patch and new ways to play soon!

Mouth Movements Coming for VoIP
Since our Early Launch launch two years ago, our RP community has frequently requested for this feature to be implemented and we’re happy to say that moving mouths for VoIP are finally coming! All those interested can expect to see this feature added by our 1.0 launch on November 1st.

As we approach our 1.0 Launch coming in exactly 2 weeks, we’d like to thank our community for all the feedback, patience and support you’ve given us for the last 2 years on this Early Access ride. We’ve learned a lot and couldn’t have done it without you! We’re looking forward to seeing this journey continue as we add more content and support the game moving forward.

Patch Delayed - 09/18/2019

Hello Wizards!

We were hoping to launch a new update today for the community but due to a server error, we've been forced to restore backup save data from yesterday.

If you're running a private server, that there is a backup folder you can use to restore any lost save data (\Citadel\Saved\SaveGames\Bak\).

Stay tuned for the next few days as we plan to relaunch the update once we fix the server error we've encountered.

Thanks for your patience everybody!
