In this devlog, we’re introducing characters that brings great value to your shop, but only if you catch them at the right time the Salesperson.
Unlike the usual systems where you manage stock through standard menus, the Salesperson is an NPC who visits your shop from time to time, offering special deals you won’t want to miss. If you're looking to boost your store’s inventory or upgrade your space on a budget, this is your chance.

The Salesperson doesn’t just bring one type of item and they can show up with different categories of goods, each offering strategic advantages:
1. Discounted Box Bundles (Cars & Spare Parts)
You might be offered multi-item packs of car boxes or spare part boxes at a reduced price compared to regular store listings. It’s a great way to restock quickly, especially when you're preparing for upcoming events or just starting to scale up your inventory.
2. Discounted Sales Racks
Occasionally, the Salesperson will offer specific display racks at a lower cost. This is especially helpful if you're expanding your shop and need more shelf space without spending too much of your funds.
3. Special Furniture Items
Some of the rarest deals are supportive furniture pieces that give passive bonuses to your shop. These items may help attract more visitors, improve your shop’s atmosphere, or even increase the maximum selling price of your products. They're designed to help you optimize both aesthetics and store performance.
The Salesperson doesn’t stay long. They’ll appear randomly on certain days and leave at the end of the day, so if you see them, make sure to take a moment and interact. Once they’re gone, you’ll need to wait for their next visit to get another shot at those limited-time deals.
Tip: If you’re saving up for something or managing your stock carefully, it’s worth checking in whenever the Salesperson shows up. You never know what kind of deal you’ll get.
We added the Salesperson to bring more variety and unpredictability into the shop loop. Not every deal will be essential but some might be just what you need at the right moment. It also gives you another reason to keep checking in on your store’s routine and creates opportunities to get ahead through smart timing and good resource management.
