On February 4, we’ll be closing the prologue page, but don’t worry - we’re preparing a NEW demo for you in the coming weeks. It’ll feature even more content to explore (including a new Tower!). If Nordhold: Origins is already in your library, you’ll still be able to play it. However, it will soon be unavailable to add to your library, so if you haven’t grabbed it yet, now’s your last chance before the demo comes out.

A huge thank you to everyone who played the prologue and shared their feedback. Your input was incredibly valuable in helping us improve Nordhold and shape it into what it will be like when it’s released in March.

- Possibility to adjust the behavior for hiding health bars / damage numbers in the video settings.


- Optimization of the savegame system
- Bug fixed where Cost Cog triggers again when restarting the game
- Bugs in the display of values for spells fixed

[h3]Hotfixes:[/h3]
- Performance optimization to reduce lags
- Fixed a problem that increased the Applied Damage at Magma Field (Banner from the Volcano Mortar) x10
To compensate for this loss of “exploit fun”, the Magma Field values were raised slightly:
- Increase in applied burn stacks from Magma field from Applied Burn: 6/8/10 to 8/10/13

- Removed Relic: Golden Treasure (Legendary)
- New Relic: Rikur’s Axe (Legendary)

[h3]Adjustments:[/h3]
- Enemy display now updates in real time (when clicking on an enemy, the panel at the top left)
- Automatic hiding of damage numbers and health bars above a certain zoom-out level

[h3]Improvements:[/h3]
- Problems in bug/feedback report fixed
- Possibility added to reduce the visual effects of the towers and the environment separately in the settings
- Prevents multiple sound overlay with many projectiles and thus optimizes the sound perception
