We know that after our recent announcements, many of you have questions about what’s coming next. We took the time to anticipate the most common ones and decided to put together this Q&A to provide clear answers on all key topics!

[h2]❓ How did we start in the game industry?[/h2]
We started developing games over ten years ago, beginning with small projects that allowed us to grow and refine our skills. Over the years, we explored Unreal Engine, mastered its tools, and improved our creations.
When Unreal Engine 5 was released, it marked a turning point in the industry with its groundbreaking realism. During a school study project at the launch of UE5, we discovered photorealism. The goal of this project was to explore the engine’s limits, and as we progressed, we realized that our PC was capable of running an ultra-realistic scene.
Initially, our idea was to create an ultra-realistic shooter on UE5. But during our prototypes, we discovered that the only way to push realism from “realistic” to “photorealistic” was by degrading the image using lens effects that mimic action cameras.
You’ve probably noticed that all recent ultra-realistic games adopt camera effects degradations. It’s the same principle used in cinema: in action scenes, everything moves, everything is blurry, making it harder to distinguish details and, ultimately, making the scene feel more believable.
Of course, we agreed that this degradation would feel odd if it came directly from the player’s eyes. So, we justified this effect by incorporating bodycams equipped by soldiers this became the name of our game.
[h2]⚙️ Game Optimisation & Technical Improvements [/h2]
What are your plans for game optimisation?
➡️ Optimisation is a major focus, and our specialised team is working on improving performance with every update. We’re even planning a dedicated optimisation update in the future.
Why was DLSS removed, and will it return?
➡️ DLSS interfered with FSR, causing major lag issues. A team is investigating, and DLSS will return once the issue is fixed.
Will there be host migration & dedicated servers?
➡️ A specialised team is working on host migration to improve online play. Dedicated servers were not recommended for our current game modes, but with host migration, things will get much better!
Will an anti-cheat system be implemented?
➡️ Yes! A robust anti-cheat solution is in development to ensure fair play.
[h2]🔫 Gameplay & Content Additions [/h2]
Will night vision be added?
➡️ Yes! Night Vision Goggles (NVG) will be available in special rounds, where unique gameplay modifiers like suppressed weapons will also be introduced.
Are bots planned?
➡️ Yes! Bots will arrive in update 1.3.4, with difficulty that adapts to player skill levels.
Will there be snipers & sniper-focused maps?
➡️ Snipers are coming after the animation overhaul.
Will weapon customisation be added?
➡️ Yes! Attachments and sights will be introduced alongside loadouts, which will be available in non-competitive game modes like Deathmatch.
Will there be more zombie maps?
➡️ Definitely! New zombie maps are coming, but they take a lot of development time.
Will there be a campaign mode?
➡️ Not initially planned, but we’ll run a community poll
Will hostage rescue be a game mode?
➡️ Same Not initially planned, but we’ll run a community poll to see if players want it!
Will more lens effects be added?
➡️ Yes! Snow, blood, and more immersive effects are in the works.
Is a gore system planned?
➡️ Yes! A fully custom gore system is in development, and we’ve already shown some WIP footage on Discord.
Will more weapons be added?
➡️ Yes! Can’t reveal which ones yet, but stay tuned!
Will kill cams be added?
➡️ No plans for now—it’s a complex feature to implement properly.
[h2]🎮 Customisation & Quality of Life Improvements [/h2]
Why were player cosmetics changed? Will the old system return?
➡️ The old system caused performance and engine issues, so we had to replace it. We’ll announce any future changes if we find a workaround!
Will the friend system be improved?
➡️ Yes! The party system is getting major improvements in update 1.3.4.
Will Proximity Chat & VOIP be fixed?
➡️ Yes! Fixes are in development to make it work properly.
Will daily & weekly challenges be added?
➡️ Yes, they are planned for a future update!
Will there be tactical emotes or hand signs?
➡️ No “Fortnite-style” emotes, but custom animations for match intros/outros are coming!
Will HDR support return?
➡️ HDR was temporarily disabled for rework, but it will return in an improved form.

Will there be mod support?
➡️ Not planned for now, but we may explore it in the far future.
Will there be a drone racing mode?
➡️ Maybe 😉
How did the studio start in the gaming industry?
➡️ We started six years ago with small projects, building our skills over time. Once Unreal Engine 5 launched, we started working on Worst World, which evolved into BODYCAM!
What’s the current state of Reissad Studio?
➡️ We’re growing fast! More details coming in an upcoming announcement.
What happened to the map "Tumblewood"?
➡️ It had major performance & graphical issues, so we had to temporarily disable it. We’ll bring it back once it’s fixed!
Will animations be improved?
➡️ An animation overhaul is already in progress!
Will left-handed POV be added?
➡️ Not likely—it would require a completely new set of animations for every gun.
Playstation & Xbox versions?
➡️ CLASSIFIED.
