Early Access 2024 Recap
Survivors!
We hope you’ve been enjoying some relaxing holidays so far! It’s been an overwhelming Early Access journey, and as we approach the turn of the year, we’d like to reflect on everything that’s happened since Endzone 2 entered Early Access in August.
Before diving into the update recap, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to you—our community and players. We wouldn’t be here without your incredible support and passion for the game. Your love and dedication are truly invaluable.
From all of us at Gentlymad Studios and Assemble Entertainment, thank you so much. Here’s to an amazing Early Access journey in 2025!
Let's start with the Regular and Major Updates that happened this year:
The first Regular Update in September brought you an extensive update to the ingame statistic data. Also this was the first version of the statistics window which will be further improved in future updates.
Additionally, you got the option to rename settlers and vehicles for a more immersive gameplay experience. Besides these, new expededitions, bug fixes and several gameplay improvements were part of this update.
This transformative update introduced powerful new technologies to your settlements. Harness the energy of the elements with Wind Turbines, Solar Power Systems, and more as you connect buildings using Power Poles and Relay Stations, igniting a new era of resource management and community growth.
On top, the update also introduced the upcycling mechanic that lets you make use of valuable ruins, including coal and copper mines, reclaiming essential resources for your survival and jump start your efforts to restore human civilization.

November's Regular Update included Quality of Life features, bug fixes, and plenty of gameplay improvements—not to mention additional content, such as new expeditions.
In a nutshell, this update's focus was on providing you with a better and more immersive game start, several new and complex expeditions, as well as a revamped radiation system, making it easier to understand and less unforgiving.
This update brought you exciting new additions and improvements to enhance your journey!
Traders now populate the world, offering unique loot, reputation missions, and an engaging bargaining system. The intermediate area connects zones with electricity using new power poles, a construction vehicle, and a detailed electricity overview.
We also added animals to zones as well as the Hunting Lodge as a new building, which allows your settlers to actively hunt animals in their territory. Also, settlers now spend additional time in buildings and moving directly to construction sites, enhancing productivity and the beloved “Wuselfaktor”.

We hope you’re enjoying the current version of the game as much as we do! While a lot has already been added since Endzone 2 launched in Early Access this summer, there’s still a long road ahead—and so much more to add and improve based on both your feedback and (y)our vision for the game.
Stay tuned for exciting updates in 2025 as we continue to shape Endzone 2 together!
See you in 2025—Happy New Year, Survivors!
