Glenn Bearna: Primeval Winter Update


[h2]Glenn Bearna: Primeval Winter[/h2]
  • A new difficulty setting “Primeval Winter” has been added to Glenn Bearna.
    • This difficulty modifier can be accessed during Glenn Bearna Hardmode.
    • The party will need to burn all their collected Firewood and Embers when prompted to destroy the Barrier in the final phase before the boss.
      • Your party must have multiple Firewood and Embers for the option to be visible.
  • New Rewards for Primeval Winter difficulty have been added.
  • A new Glenn Bearna: Primeval Winter Journal Achievement has been added.
  • If the party manages to complete the new mode without any member being incapacitated during the fight with The Winter Tyrant, they will be awarded with “the Uniter of Dawn and Dusk” title.
    • Stats:

  • The gameplay and combat for the Glenn Bearna dungeon have been improved.
    • Gwyllions
      • A slight delay has been added to Gwyllions’ AI decision to attack after teleporting.
    • Abominable Rabbit
      • Can now be attacked while using its Roar and Snow Throw skills.
      • A wind-up animation has been added to its Rolling Attack skill, allowing for clearer indication of the skill being used.
        • The Abominable Rabbit can be attacked during its skill-loading animation.
    • Gwyllgis
      • The initial damage from its Bite attack has been reduced to 1/6th.
      • The number of key presses to escape its Bite attack has been reduced from 15 to 10.
    • Fianna Geimhridh
      • The creature can now be attached during its Charge Attack.
    • The above changes are also applied to the Fahmes’ Ruin version of these creatures.
    • Icicle Sprite
      • The creature’s damage and protection have been reduced slightly.
    • Barrier Room
      • Emergency Ice Bombs no longer do damage to the Final Barrier.
      • When surviving party members have at least 1 Firewood and Ember, the party will be given an option on which phase they would like to proceed with.
      • When proceeding, each time Firewood and Ember are burned, the Pairing Life for all party members is restored by 10%.
    • Cailleach (1st Phase)
      • An effect has been added to increase the visibility of the target applied to the Burning Earth Skill.
      • When moving to Beyond the Border where the Unfinished Reverie is located, party members from your Timeline (Day or Night), excluding incapacitated members, will also be moved.
    • Cailleach (2nd Phase)
      • The Frozen Lake will no longer change while Cailleach throws her Wintersbrand (Sword) and Wintersbite (Lance).
      • While immune to being frozen (Wings of Eclipse, Shield of Trust, etc.), Cailleach’s Wintersbrand will no longer disappear when stepping in the affected area.
      • A warning effect will appear on screen when Time Until the End is 15 seconds or below.
      • When the party fails to complete the number of required hits on the Unfinished Reverie when prompted, only party members from the Day Timeline will become incapacitated and Cailleach’s health will be restored by 10%.
      • Enkindled Wraiths will no longer spawn alongside Cailleach during this phase.

[h2]Glyphwriting[/h2]
  • Quality of Glyphs made using Glphy Formulation has been upgraded from 2 Stars to 3 Stars for Ranks F to A.
  • Glyph Design copy function has been added.
    • You will be given the option to choose whether to allow your Glyph Design to be copied.
    • You can load designs from all glyphs that you have your inventory, either designed by you or from others that have allowed their designs to be copied.
    • The ability to copy is available when nothing has been added yet to your Glyph Design board.
  • A "Recover Selected" function has been added when using a Glyph Recovery Scroll, allowing you to repair multiple Glyphs with 90 durability or lower at once.
  • Renamed the label "Glyph Creator" to "Glyph Designer" on Glyph Imprints.

Other Fantasy Life Changes[/h2][/h2]
[h3]Fynn Bead Burnishing[/h3]
  • During the Pet Training Skill Quest The Light Within the Ore, indestructible practice Fynn Beads have replaced the standard Fynn Bead you received, preventing your bead from destruction should you fail at Fynn Bead Burnishing.
  • Text has been added to the practice Fynn Beads for clarity.
[h3]Echostone Supplements[/h3]
  • By popular request from Milletians, Echostones Supplements can now be listed onto the Auction House.
[h3]Dye Mini-game [/h3]
  • The Dye Mini-game has been revamped to better suit Milletians need for fashion with the following changes:
    • The Color Search Function of the Dyeing Palette has been changed to a function that selects the searched color.
    • A function to search using HEX codes has been added.
    • An issue where 0 would remain when clicking the color search box has been fixed.
    • When entering RGB Values for Dyes on the Auction House, the opposite field will automatically fill in for those looking for exact values.
