The release timeline for Whisper Mountain Outbreak has been revealed. It's just a matter of months.

It's great seeing you again after several months. We have gone quiet for a while, but now, we are back to announce something important. The wait is almost over, and be prepared for deployment for Mount Bisik operations in 2025.

In 2023, we teased the title and dropped the limited-time demo several times over the months so your feedback could be taken. We have heard your voices, and several implementations were added to the game over the months. While still honoring the classics, we want to present something different for new generations. With this in mind, we finally reached the final stage of development.

[h3]We proudly announce that Whisper Mountain Outbreak will be coming soon on Steam in Q3 2025.[/h3]

In Whisper Mountain Outbreak, you can survive the paranormal outbreak alone or with three other agents. You are assigned to solve the outbreak behind the mining operation that went wrong in Mount Bisik. It is an uncontrollable metaphysical phenomenon that occurs without warning. It's not a biological weapon, but something more sinister than you imagine.

Even the department still doesn't know what kind of horrors await beyond.

The agents have been permitted to operate as you want on Mount Bisik. A safe house has been assigned where they can customize and prepare for the next mission. Several places need to be investigated so the dots can be connected. The department has allowed the use of several firearms, which also can be obtained on the field.

Use everything in your arsenal to solve the mystery and get out alive before it's too late.

Happy Halloween! Join us for some spooky survival horror action! As we near the end of the year, let's recap some events from the past few weeks. On the last announcement we have been through the west part of the world to showcase our game. This time, we are getting our presence known around some part of Asia and Oceania. We are thankful the awesome reception from every events we had attended.

In September, we had the opportunity to showcase our game at G-Fusion Beijing 2024 with the help of our friends at Biokube. Moving into October, we attended a series of events closer to our home country Indonesia, each happening back-to-back every week: starting with Level Up KL 2024, followed by PAX Australia 2024, and finally Gamescom Asia 2024. We assigned different teams to each event to keep the crews on their toes. If you visited one of our booths, thank you for coming—we hope to see you again next year. And stay tuned as an important task from the Bureau is just around the corner!


[h2]The Indie Horror Showcase 2024: Our first appearance.[/h2]
"This year, we also had the opportunity to participate in the Indie Horror Showcase for the first time. It's an online event on Steam powered by the fantastic indie horror publisher, DreadXP. [h2]G-Fusion Beijing 2024 showcase went smoothly. [/h2]
Our partner, Biokube, who helped us during the event, took an extra steps by creating free merchandises to give out to the attandees, and it's all given out!




[h2]Level Up KL 2024, we won the Best Audio Design Award! [/h2]
Whisper Mountain Outbreak won the Best Audio Design Award at Level Up KL 2024 in Malaysia! Coincidentally, the creator behind the sound design and music for the game was also one of our team members present at the event.




[h2] Recapping PAX Australia 2024: We have cosplayers trying out the game![/h2]
PAX Australia happening in Melbourne, is one of the largest events celebrating video gaming and tabletop culture in Australia. This year, we had a fantastic turnout at our booth, with many attendees—including a variety of cosplayers—trying out Whisper Mountain Outbreak.

Definitely not a planned crossover.

As always, we provided sticky notes for attendees to leave their feedback on our board. Our devs will definitely read through it!


[h2]Our first showcase at Gamescom Asia 2024 with a featured live interview.[/h2]
We had a live interview with Indie Wavemakers. Some events feature these types of interviews, varying by the countries we visit. We showcased the game live at Gamescom Asia on Day 1, be sure to check out the livestream for insights into the development of Whisper Mountain Outbreak.

Our booth was filled with excited attendees who had never tried the game before. We also made sure to display the game’s genre on the board so everyone knew what kind of experience to expect.

The Metaphysics & Research Investigation Bureau is always grateful to have more agents in a state of emergency.

The Bureau welcomes you, the new agents who had been trained beforehand in the simulation (limited-time demo). The developers at Toge Productions are thrilled with the current progress and the positive feedback from our community. Things have never been better, as the reception has been overwhelmingly positive, building a great deal of anticipation.

We’ve also been showcasing Whisper Mountain Outbreak at several gaming conventions around the world. Most recently, we attended PAX West 2024 in Seattle (also, The MIX 2024 Seattle), where we had an amazing time interacting directly with attendees—many of whom will soon be joining us as agents, both young and old. If you haven't got the chance to visit us on onsite events, don't worry as we still have plans for attending more places. See you again on the next event!

In the v.144 demo, we are bringing a few more updates to keep you on your toes.

[h3]Language update: Japanese language added[/h3]
In the v.144 demo, we are bringing another new language to the game. More languages will be added as we progress with the game's development. Here are the currently available languages to use in the demo:

[h3]Revamped Lobby for Players to start the game.[/h3]
We have reworked the lobby to make it more practical for survivors to start their game. There are three points of interest that you can check out right now in the lobby. Please jump straight in to get into the camp and see how the lobby will affect future updates and prep time for the survivors.



[h3]New user interface and gameplay updates[/h3]
We have also updated the player's interface, which will make your gameplay much smoother. We have also given the survivors the ability to carry multiple guns at once. There are also several gameplay updates for the hospital map, making the demo a better experience for the survivors.



[h3]Controller support update for console players [/h3]
For survivors who are waiting to play the game with a controller/gamepad, we have implemented a controller support update. The game should automatically detect your device whether you play with a mouse & keyboard or a controller setup. You can access the option menu to change your preferred settings.
