1.2.9f1-b: Reworked US and other uniforms, various improvements and some news!
Hi everyone,
First of all, here are the latest changes to Easy Red 2:
•Reworked all US Infantry uniforms and vests.
•Reworked US MP uniform and vest.
•Reworked Japanese SNLF uniforms, vests and headgears.
•Reworked some Japanese infantry clothings (more to come).
•Reworked Japanese 47mm AT gun.
•Some new reworked TPS pistol animations.
•Some more reloads now has the optional shaking effect.
•Reworked Depth of Field effect.
Fixes:
•Fixed head scale in units.
•Fixed some bugs in Map Editor.
•Fixes in some missions.
•Fixed "Watch your fire" line not playing.
•Fixed road decals overlap issue.
•Improvements in shaders.
•Fixed TPS Sten hand placement.
•Fixes in MP40, MP41 and Walter P.38 animations.
•Fixed a bug with Bren LMG.
•Fixes in parachute animations.
•Fixes in some scopes.
•Fixes in some Afrika Korps uniforms.
•Fixed a bug in the interactable indoor fireplace.
•Several other smaller changes and fixes suggested on the Discord server.
We manage to start a new reowkr on various uniforms to improve the overall quality of the game.
We just released the rework for US Infantry, US Military Police and Japanese SNLF Uniforms, however uniforms for almost every country will be reworked during next weeks.
The rework doesn't just include better looking models but they also feature a particular attention to the historical details.
We also plan to add a lot of new uniforms soon featuring the same style and attention to details.
Here you can see some in game reworked uniforms, and a new D-Day infantry uniform coming soon, but this is just a tiny look to a quite big rework that is involving more than 30 uniforms and vests at the moment.
We recently run a poll about future campaigns, and apparently North Africa (we will see what campaigns specifically soon) is what most players would like to see next, so we will start working into this free campaign very soon!
However Kos rework still has priority and works on the new campaign will not start before we finish the current rework, probably in 2-3 months.
We recently released the new DLC, which inlcudes 2 new campaigns: Early war France invasion and late war Battle of the bulge!
The campaigns consists on 13 new missions, 2 new maps, and a lot of new game content including French faction, new weapons, new uniforms, new vehicles and many new mission editor props!

We finally released the new DLC on Nintendo switch in the US and in Japan, and it will finally come in Europe/Australia the 15th and in Asia region the 18th. Apologies for the delays, we have a lot of things going on at the moment!
We unfortunatly we also have some dalays for Xbox version too, the game will be available hopefully this or next month on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. We will try to include some of the mentioned uniforms reworks in the Xbox version to apologize for the delays!
We are going to plan all the features of the AI rework in February and start the actual rework in March.
Remember to come to the Discord server to let us know what features you would like to see for the new AI system, we have a dedicated channel just to collect ideas for this rework!
We're continuously enhancing the game by incorporating new and reworked third-person shooter (TPS) animations on a weekly basis. If you'd like to stay in the loop on our upcoming animation improvements, you can find a detailed list on our Discord server.
We released the Normandy Campaign earlier this summer after working on it for over 9 months. We are very happy with the positive reception that it has received. Thank you to everyone who has played it!

We keep improving all features of the base game and as always we will be going on listening to suggestions from people inside the Steam Discussions and the Discord server.
