Public Beta: Testing New Player Movement

[h2]What do we need to test?[/h2]

We've reworked the player body setup, including hands! While some aspects are still being fine-tuned, we’ve finally eliminated the annoying hand jumping that could mess with aiming and shooting.

[h3]🏃 Running, Strafing & Movement Flow[/h3]

The new body system brings cool interactions like leaning over surfaces and pushing off walls, but the main focus, for now, is movement — how natural and responsive it feels while navigating arenas.

🔹 No need to test slow-motion movement just yet! That will come later.

Right now, the focus is on how weapons handle while moving and how fluid it feels to navigate arenas during combat.

[h3]Best practices:[/h3]

To ensure the smoothest experience during testing, we recommend adjusting a few Player Settings:

Turn Off Player Body – The player body isn’t fully tuned for the new setup yet and might be distracting.
Set Movement to "Always Run" – This will help us stress-test extreme speeds and turns.



[h3]Phase I — Feb 18th[/h3]
We're testing extreme and common movement scenarios in these three arenas:
  • Basement – Lots of stairs and sharp 90° turns
  • Warehouse – Similar 90° turns for testing precision
  • Deathbox Sandbox – An open space filled with deadly toys and physics objects

[h3]Phase II — Feb 25th[/h3]
  • Added the rest of arenas — all Sandbox, Arena and RIDE mods are available!
  • Added performance improvements for explosions and bullet physics.
  • Fixed spawning enemy issue.
Fullbody will still be jumping in this one, we already fixed this issue in the next update planned for the nearest days.

[h3]Phase III — March 6th[/h3]
  • Jump During Slow Motion – Time dilation is now significantly reduced compared to standard slow motion, allowing more time to make shots or do tricks while airborne. A time limit will be introduced next week, but for now, it deactivates upon landing or pressing the SlowMo button.
  • Hands in Slow Motion are no longer affected by it's physics, allowing for more natural and powerful melee interactions.
  • Bullet Physics on Impact has been restored.
  • Fixed Various Glitches related to rotating while holding static objects.
  • Pause Menu Adjustment – now requires holding both Drop Magazine buttons to prevent accidental activation during reloads.
  • New Setting – Added an option to disable leaning over objects in Player Settings.


[h2]How to Opt-In[/h2]
⚠️ ACCESS: Right-click HARD BULLET in your Steam library, then select ‘Properties’. In the new window, select ‘Betas’ and choose there “Public Beta”. The new game version will start downloading immediately.
