Adjustable weather and more

Hello everyone! Version 0.8.0 is a minor release with some nice additions that we wanted to get out to you while we're working on the big Part 2 content update.

New in this release:
  • Finally, there's adjustable weather and time of day in sandbox mode (including most mod maps). This has been one of the most requested features since launch.
  • New tool selector user interface with tool categories and better overview. This will make room for new tools in Part 2
  • Improved mod management with filtering, sorting and notifications for new and updated mods.
  • The official Tuxedo Labs mods are now built-in mods and there's a new scripting showcase.
  • A lot of new features for the modding community.

Better photo mode and adjustable difficulty

Hello everyone! We've just released Teardown version 0.7.4 on the main branch. This is a minor release with some small additions that we wanted to get out to you before we leave for summer vacation.

New in this release:
  • More options to the photo mode. You can now move, rotate, tilt, and zoom the camera in photo mode.
  • A new "game" tab on the options menu where you can adjust the difficulty through toggles for alarm time, ammo, and health. You can also enable/disable the option to skip missions and unlock all tools and levels in sandbox mode.
  • Some minor bug fixes

During July we will be off on summer vacation, so communications will be very sporadic. We'll be back working on Teardown on August 2.

Have a great July!

Teardown's relentless robot is like Baymax crossed with a T-1000

"Sorry about the programmer art," ends a recent tweet from Teardown developer Dennis Gustafsson. He needn't apologise. His tweet contains a video of a pathfinding robot navigating the destructible, constantly-changing world of one of last year's best games, and the robot is simultaneously terrifying and cute.
