Beyond Beta 9.55: Progression Changes and New Lootbox Cutscene!

PATCH 9.55
+ Major progression changes: Celestial Bodies now reset after ranking up the universe, however the rank up bonus is now 3x.
+ Minor mission tweaks.
+ Fixed several visual bugs from the last Space Garden polish.
+ Negative Overflow bug has been fixed.
+ Brand new cutscene when opening a Star Lootbox!
+ Several new translations implemented (WIP, more are coming in a future update).

+ Changed production calculation from additive to multiplicative.
+ Tweaked pacing and progression.
+ Improvements on the Space Garden (Planets should have an overall smoother orbits and rotations)
+ Improved Game Optimization
+ Negative Overflow bug Issue should be fixed.
+ Mesozoic Valley side panel should show the correct increased amounts when buying new dinosaurs.

Patch 9.36: A Familiar Winged Friend!

Hello Universe Architects,

The simulation has been updated with a popularly requested mammal. Let's give a big, batty welcome to a new face joining the Main Tree...



Remember the Natural Selection Island competition in April? Players got to choose between six different animalia contestants, and the winner would be added to Cell To Singularity. The bat beat the capybara by a few coarse hairs in the final vote, and now it's finally its time to shine!

Pour The Fruit Punch

Fruit bats, also known as megabats, have officially joined the game! Unlock their trophy node in the new Chiroptera branch, and watch them fly around in the dense jungle of the Land Garden.



Finger Counting

Those are some long fingers you have! New trait nodes- including Long Fingers -are now available on the Main Tree. Find the Chiroptera branch near its winged comrades and learn more about what makes bats so cool!

Beta 9.36 testing Bat patch

Hey Cellular Cadets,

We are adding Bats to the primary simulation next week, and need to test the latest version 9.36 for any bugs.

Specifically we want to make sure nothing is messed up in the Mesozoic valley. As we are programming the Beyond Solar system expansion a lot of the new game code is connected to the Mesozoic valley. We have been testing all week and the build looks good to use, however we just want be extra careful nothing it broken in the Valley, before we push this update to the public.

What to test in the beta?
+ Try to unlock the Bat in the mammal tree.
+ See if you can find the bat in the land garden
+ Check that you game looks normal in the Mesozoic Valley.

Note: If you are already testing the "beyond beta" you can stay on the Beyond beta and test these items from that beta. Both the public beta and beyond have the same codebase, however you can't access the beyond in the public beta. Hope that's not to confusing.

[h3]How to help test the Bat beta[/h3]
Right click on Cell to Singularity select properties. Choose "beta - public beta" tab then switch your setting to Beta. Note this is not the beyond beta.

Beyond Beta 9.44 + 9.35 + 9.30 ( Achievements + Beyond doorway )

+ Fixed bug where beyond cut scene would play again and again
+ Constellation have line drawing
+ Dispatch missions have the correct 3D models.
+ Stars in background of solar system are sized more correctly
+ Space time icon updated.
+ Cube Bundles updated.

PATCH 9.35
Quick fix for the idle income not working in any simulations.

+ Fixed idle income not being collected in any of the simulations.
+ In the Dino's "Collect" mission were incorrectly labeled as "Research" missions
+ Fixed issue were players were seeing "infinity" on progress bars in the Dino simulation.
+ Astronomy missions in beyond should have the correct title and description for all those mission types.

Hey Cells Testers,

We added a doorway to get to the beyond scene you will need to open the beyond by clicking on the Ghost Galaxy near the start of the tree. The Ghost Galaxy only shows up after you reboot the simulation one time.

PATCH 9.34 9/01/2021
+ Achievement text added for the constellations
+ To enter the beyond. You need to first unlock singularity and then look for the galaxy ghost in the main simulation at the bottom of the tree.
+ Rare card power increased.
+ 3D object and sprites added for dispatch missions.
+ Added 2 more dwarf star research missions.
+ UI for switching world updated in the main simulation.
+ Starting work on beyond into cut scene
+ Starting work on translations.

We have a new beyond beta update, Achievements have been add to this patch. We also need to reset beyond progress to test out new economy tuning. Sorry about the constant reseting of progress, this should be one of the last time we need to do that.
