Begin the quest "The Icing on the Cake" by speaking to Astrid in Old Gridania (X:10.2 Y:9.4).

* Players must be level 15 and above to start the quest.
* Players must first complete the quest "It's Probably Pirates."

* Certain items available during previous iterations of these events can be obtained from the House Valentione maid.

Patch 7.41 Notes

Patch 7.41 introduces new weapon enhancement quests, and for crafters and gatherers eager to explore the cosmos, the Cosmic Exploration Initiative has plotted a new destination—Oizys.

* Additional features will be implemented in future updates:

A new variant dungeon (The Merchant's Tale) and Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures sidequests are scheduled to release in Patch 7.45.

The FF14 race to world first is over as Dawntrail's final savage raid falls, and despite DDOS drama the winner is clear

The FF14 race to world first has come to its conclusion, and this time there's nothing close about it, although continued DDOS frustrations certainly managed to put a dampener on the event. Rounding out a trilogy of wins across the entire Dawntrail raid series, Japanese team Lucrezia managed to take home the victory once again, and did so with well over an hour gap ahead of second place, making it tough to argue with the result despite repeated disruptions for several North American teams.
