Kaya's Prophecy is joining Steam Next Fest!

Guess what, Kaya's Prophecy is going to be taking part in the Steam Next Fest running from 24th February to 3rd March! This is your chance to try out our unique village builder that challenges your strategic skills and resource management!

The second Kaya's Prophecy playtest has arrived, and we're taking your tribal journey to the next level!
Build, explore, and battle in a vibrant roguelite where every decision shapes your tribe's destiny. Do your best to placate your god... who will be demanding some tasty treats! (though perhaps a slightly... untraditional Christmas dinner!) After our first playtest, we've refined the experience with some new features and bug fixes! Improved stacking physics of cards on your board
Changed how plans are kept between runs
Tweaked environment lights and colours
Added display settings, players can now play the game in windowed mode
Added the options/menu button in the fight screens and exploration screens
Animals now move around less
Reworked quests
Updated behaviour of pinned plans
Improved save and load systems

Now displays the correct number of quests in chapter
No longer destroys exploration card with thunder.
Fixed an issue with a fight launching twice upon reloading, if quitting during a fight.
Fixed an issue where the vision menu would not open correctly if dropped on a villager

Kaya's Prophecy is a roguelike blend of Slay the Spire and Cult of the Lamb

When I think about Steam indies, a few genre cornerstones come to mind. We see a lot of roguelike elements, deckbuilding features, and even management mechanics in the big hitters. Games like Slay the Spire, Cult of the Lamb, Balatro, Hades, and countless more. What can I say, we love randomized decks of cards and running societies. If you want a new game with all these elements combined, the newly revealed Kaya's Prophecy is for you. Putting you in control of a growing tribe that needs to explore, survive, and appease its god, it's coming to Steam next year.
