Announcement of Discontinuation of Sales for Dungeon Done

Hello, Players,
This is the Dungeon Done development team.

First, we want to sincerely thank everyone who played and supported Dungeon Done throughout 2024.
As we welcome the new year, we wish you all health, happiness, and joy.

Unfortunately, we have some difficult news to share today.
Dungeon Done began as a labor of love from a small indie team, fueled by passion and dedication.
However, the game’s performance has fallen short of our expectations, and we now face the tough reality of no longer being able to sustain our team.
After much reflection, we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to disband the team and discontinue the sale of Dungeon Done.

The game will no longer be available for purchase starting February 11th (Tuesday), Pacific Standard Time (PST).
That said, if you already own the game, you will still be able to play without any restrictions.

To everyone who supported Dungeon Done and shared your time with us, we are deeply grateful.
Although the development team is parting ways, we hope Dungeon Done continues to hold a special place in your memories.
We wish you all the best in your adventures ahead.

Thank you for everything.

Warm regards,
The Dungeon Done Development Team

If you have any suggestions, please leave us feedback on the discord! Let's take a look at what's changed!
1. Reduced monster population on Dungeon of Greed[Normal] maps
- Significant tweaks to Dungeon of Greed [Normal] difficulty to make it more challenging for players
- We've significantly reduced the number of monsters that spawn on Dungeon of Greed [Normal] difficulty.
(This should make the game a little easier to master!)
2. Increased loot prices
- We've increased the price of loot across the board on all maps.
- Now you'll get a bigger reward for your efforts.
3. Increased the amount of HP restored by using staffs
- We've increased the amount of HP restored by the Heal Staff, which was not working as well as it should.
(Note that heal staff can give healing to Scavengers standing in line at once!)
4. Miscellaneous
- Fixed player respawns to start at 50% HP even with HP growth on
- Fixed an issue where changing the language in game settings would not apply to settings made before the language change
- Intuitively improved the UI for changing the waiting room map
- Fixed a bug where using the Revive Staff would apply twice
- Fixed an error when using rope items
- Fixed some terrain errors
- Fixed gamepad malfunctions

Patch Note #4 for Dungeon Done

Hello, players!
This is the Dungeon Done development team.

Are you enjoying Dungeon Done?
Here are the details for the fourth patch.

[Patch Notes]

1. Added a feature to move to the waiting room with your party after a game ends
- We've resolved the issue where rooms disappeared after the game ended.
- Now, you can seamlessly continue playing with your fellow scavengers.
(Oh! The host can also change the map in the waiting room.)
- The pawnshop has also been placed in the waiting room—don’t forget to check it out!

2. Increased the detection range of fire traps (Difficulty reduction)
- Fixed an issue where fire traps were overly reactive in high-latency environments, making them difficult to avoid.
- Now, fire traps are a little less "smart." They will now respond to scavengers from farther away, giving you a chance to react before they spit flames.
You’ll be less likely to be caught off guard and burned!

3. Miscellaneous
- Increased the size of dropped items
- Fixed a click error related to gamepads

We are continuously monitoring and addressing improvements and bug fixes to enhance your gaming experience.
Thank you for your continued support, and we hope you enjoy the game!

Patch Note #3 for Dungeon Done

Hello, players!
This is the Dungeon Done development team.

Here are the patch notes for changes implemented on Sunday, December 8 (PST).
[Patch Notes]

1. Monster Attack Power Reduced
- The attack power of monsters has been reduced across all maps and difficulty levels.
- Our original intent was to encourage players to cautiously explore dungeons while avoiding monsters and gathering items rather than hunting them.
However, as players have been experiencing difficulties contrary to our intentions, we decided to lower the overall attack power of monsters.
2. Increased Player's Attack Power and Item Usages
- The attack power of bare hands, torches, lanterns, and staffs has been increased. Additionally, the attack power and durability of clubs and shields have also been enhanced.
- For the same reasons mentioned above, we strengthened elements that allow players to protect themselves during critical moments.
When encountering troublesome goblins or skeletons, decide with your team whether to fight or flee!
3. Item Tooltip Now Displays Sale Prices
- Sale prices have been added to item tooltips.
- Initially, our goal was to let players infer details from item names and learn item prices gradually while enjoying the game, leading to more efficient looting.
However, we realized that learning item prices on top of facing sudden traps or ambushes was overwhelming.
To ease this challenge, we’ve added sale price information to tooltips. Now you can quickly identify valuable items and loot more efficiently!
4. Moai Statue Weight Reduced
- The weight of the Moai Statue has been reduced.
- Initially designed as a "jackpot" item, the Moai Statue was simply too heavy. Players often had to discard numerous looted items to carry it.
With the reduced weight, the Moai Statue now offers more merit without such compromise. Enjoy a more comfortable looting experience!
5. Treasure Goblin Speed Increased
- The speed of the Treasure Goblin has been increased.
- Unlike the changes above, this might be slightly bittersweet news. Currently, the Treasure Goblin offers too much reward for the effort required to catch it.
To make these rare encounters more special, we’ve slightly increased the Treasure Goblin’s speed.
6. Miscellaneous
- Fixed an issue where some UI elements registered a single click multiple times when using a gamepad.
- Fixed an issue where corpses obstructed cooperative chests, preventing smooth interaction.
- Fixed an issue where unpurchased outfits were applied to the lobby and dungeon when changing characters.
Players who had unpurchased outfits equipped due to this bug will have those outfits automatically unequipped.
- Added one new skeleton outfit in a different color.

We are committed to monitoring and addressing game bugs and improvement points promptly.
Thank you for your continued support!
