We're excited to announce that Hotfix 0.2.3 for Achilles: Survivor is now available!



This update addresses several issues and introduces some new features to enhance your gaming experience. Here's a breakdown of the key changes (There is a lot, so brace yourselves!) :

New Features


  • Screen shake can now be disabled in the settings
  • FPS limiter in the settings
  • Overlords now have their name displayed under the health bar
  • Hardware Cursor


Updated


  • Improved the game’s optimization
  • Rebuilding a destroyed structure is now quicker
  • Enlarged the areas in which enemy kills are counted during special events
  • You can now see locked survivor’s class and name
  • Visually improved the Ominous Visages structure
  • Achievement icons have no numbers
  • Improved readability of whether you’re able to buy an improvement/build a structure or not
  • Improved readability of damage received by the player
  • Improved pickup readability
  • Improved location’s objectives visibility in the pause and end screens
  • Fully removed EOS from the game’s files



FIXES
  • Corrected notification popups queuing - there should be a lot less freezes on transformation screen
  • Favors should no longer reset after crash and game restart
  • Fixed the possibility of getting stuck inside a structure after building it
  • Power Damage improvements now correctly impact critical damage
  • Power Range improvements now work correctly
  • The game no longer can switch languages after a restart
  • Fixed spider explosions deal damage near the player instead of the spider
  • General Striking Speed improvements are now impacting Deadeye Arrow as well
  • Fixed a crash on game startup
  • Fixed a crash on finishing a location
  • Fixed a crash on exit to main menu
  • Fixed a rare crash while fighting Hector
  • Shield throw now doesn’t get as far away from the player and targets enemies correctly
  • Closing a basement can no longer display two identical rewards
  • Made Rifts spawn earlier in the run
  • Improved text readability on improvement cards
  • Improved navigation and responsiveness of the powers' popup in pause menu
  • Defeating Paris no longer displays an empty achievement
  • Fixed Achilles’ starting power sometimes dealing damage multiple times in one hit
  • Corrected the game’s version display
  • Fixed status effects sometimes not being visible on the enemy
  • Highlighting of powers impacted by an improvement now correctly disappears when using the reroll button
  • Fixed the Forge structure adding a second passive effect
  • Removed passive effects from the Mine structure
  • Fixed an invisible rock in the Greece realm on low/medium settings
  • Improved class and name readability for both locked and unlocked survivors
  • Corrected Alectryon’s displayed class
  • Fixed Tantal possibly having 555 luck if the favor was maxed
  • Localization for texts that were missing it, like the Dodge indicator, key binding settings, and more
  • Fixed some texts not fitting on screen in different languages
