This is Kim Young-mo, the director of ASTRA: Knights of Veda.
In this Director’s Note, rather than answering questions, I would like to introduce some key features that we’ll be introducing with the upcoming First Anniversary Update.
Before that however, we would like to express our sincerest thanks to all Masters of the Book who have been with us for the past year. There have been many trials and errors since we launched the game last year, but thanks to your support, we have continued braving these challenges and improving step-by-step.
With the coming Veda's 1st Anniversary Starlit Carnival, we promise to further develop the game in the direction that you, our dear Masters of the book, desire.

1. “White Hell” finally arrives[/h3]
One of the most iconic characters from “Dragon Blaze” is finally making its way to “ASTRA: Knights of Veda!”
“White Hell” will be the third Dual-Attribute Knight of Veda with the Lightning and Light attributes and wielding a Staff.
We’ve made sure she meets everyone’s expectations in terms of power and utility, she’ll be shining and electrifying her way through the competition once she’s added to the game on the 03/27 Update.

2. Legendary (5★) Knights of Veda and Exclusive Weapons can now be upgraded to Mythic (6★)![/h3]
As mentioned in the Director’s Live Broadcast, Mythic Promotions are not obtained through Summons but are obtained by completing designated missions for each Knight of Veda or weapon.
In addition, you don’t need to have your 5★ Knight or Weapon be at Fate or Refinement Level 7 to be able to promote them to Mythic
Upon Mythic Promotion, not only will base stats improve significantly, but you will also gain a powerful Mythic Skill that are specially designed to enhance performance in various types of content

3. Change your Knight of Veda’s appearance with “Knight's Robe!” [/h3]
The long-awaited skin system for ASTRA: Knights of Veda will be released and called “Knight's Robe.” Equipping these Knight's Robe will not just change the Knights’ appearance but will also include different skill effects!
As part of the 1st Anniversary Update, we’ll then be releasing a special Knight's Robe for White Hell, after which we will gradually release Knight’s Attire for the other Knights, so please look forward to it!

4. Clear the new “Snow White's Frosty Dream” content to obtain “White Hell!”[/h3]
The new “Snow White's Frosty Dream” content will be introduced in this coming update and will feature both a “Story Mode” and a “Challenge Mode.”
In Story Mode, you will be using the new Knight of Veda “White Hell” alongside various allies you will meet as the story progresses. Upon clearing Story Mode, you will be able to obtain “White Hell” herself as a reward!
In addition, “Challenge Mode” will now also be available, allowing you to use any Knights of Veda you wish to take on the various challenges and earn rewards while doing so.

5. Join forces with your Guild as you attempt to defeat the “Ancient Giant” in this new Guild-based content.[/h3]
Following a long slumber after the Great Battle in ancient times, the “Ancient Giant” has finally awakened.
Available only on weekends, the “Ancient Giant” is a Guild-based content where you can challenge “Ira the Giant”, who will be assigned a different attribute each week.
You will earn points based on damage dealt to “Ira the Giant,” with the total Guild score being the total damage dealt by the members of a Guild, who will then be ranked in a leaderboard alongside other Guilds.
Since this content is Guild-based, we recommend joining a Guild if you haven’t already, so you can participate and enjoy the challenge!

6. Craft special “Mythic Gems” that can have two unique stats![/h3]
Since the game’s launch, the Gem system has remained unchanged, with only a few gems being widely used while the rest remain stacked in inventories.
To address this, we are introducing a new system that allows players to upgrade their stored Legendary Gems into higher-tier gems.
By using six Legendary Gems of the same type and a special material called “Crest of Stars,” which can be obtained from the Nightmare of the Abyss, you can craft a “Mythic Gem.” These Mythic Gems are different in that they can possess two stats, allowing for greater flexibility in your builds.

7. Exciting 1st Anniversary Events & Special Rewards Await![/h3]
Various events and exclusive rewards to celebrate ASTRA: Knights of Veda’s First Anniversary, with some of them being limited to these events, so please look forward to them!
To give you a small teaser – if you log-in for fourteen days, you will be able to receive a Mascot featuring the companion that has always followed you during the story!
Additionally, special anniversary items, including a “Mark of Sanctity" and “Pristine Wings” can be obtained exclusively for the occasion.
There’s still some time left before the First Anniversary Update, and until then, we will continue to add as much enjoyable content as possible. We will also be sharing future update plans as quickly as possible.
To provide more timely updates, we are launching a new segment in our official community called "Dev Team Peek", where our youngest planning team member will share content updates and improvements every two weeks, along with gathering player feedback.
Our update roadmap includes amazing new Knights of Veda, an expanded story, new content, and major overhauls to existing features, so please stay tuned!
