Megaloot is on sale for 40% starting today and ending on February 23rd and for that, we'd like to announce our new Major Content update, packed with new features, balance changes, and bug fixes!

Here’s what’s new in this update:
- Banish Unwanted Loot - After clearing a floor, you’ll receive a few random items that can be banished! Once banished, they won’t appear in the shop again.
- Reforged Items - These items come with random additional stats, set boosters and passives. And the deeper you go, the stronger those stats become. You can spot them by the colorful outline at the bottom of the slot.
- Multiple Save Slots – You can now have multiple saves and switch between different adventures at any time.
- Flow Mechanic and Sets limit removal – Flow is a new system that affects both potions and sets. It is consumed when equipping a new set or using a potion. Now, you can equip as many sets as you want - as long as you have enough Flow. Different sets require different amounts of Flow. Flow spent on the potions refills after each battle.
- Stat Limits Introduced – Some stats now have caps, like Toughness maxing out at 95%, to ensure better balance. You can always check if a stat has a cap by looking at the bottom of its description.
- New Item: Vampiric Helmet – This update wasn’t originally planned as a content update, but I couldn’t resist adding a brand-new helmet to the Vampiric set.
- New enemy: Uranus - You’ll encounter him starting from Floor 23.
- New potion: Health Potion - Restores 25% Health
UI & UX Changes:
- The attack indicator is now located near the attack button.
- Damage and action text has been made smaller to prevent it from covering the enemy’s health.
- You can now see a tip on market items that you've selected in the Build Planner.
- Added Brightness and Contrast options in the video settings
- If there are more than two players in your Co-Op game, each player will now have unique borders on their character image for better distinction
- You can now view Steam profiles directly from the death messages.
Balance Changes:
[h2]Enemy Rebalancing [/h2]
Smoother progression with better-scaling enemies.
[h2]Dismantle has been removed.[/h2]
Dismantle was introduced at launch to add more interaction to the shop, but over time, it pushed the game in a direction I really didn’t like. So, I had to make the tough decision to remove it. Megaloot is supposed to be about loot, not just stats. When players can get everything too easily, the buildcrafting aspect becomes less interesting.
[h2]Item Rebalance [/h2]
The following changes have been made:
- Moonflowers Extract - Changed from granting a stack of Focused to granting 3 stacks of Magic Blitz.
- Flesh Set - Changed from granting a stack of Vimblow on healing to allowing you to heal over Max Health.
- Demonic Axe - New Passive Added (Shatterwave – Deals 25% of your attack damage to enemies around after hitting your target).
- Magma Set - Changed from bonus Cinder Damage to granting 1 stack of Cinder Essence before the start of the turn.
- Cinder essence - Changed from Immolating once per turn for every Cinder Essence to consuming all stacks at the beginning of the turn and Immolating for each one.
- Common Alchemist’s Wisdom - New Passive Added (Manaflow – Sets your Max Mana to 1).
[h2]Other Balance Changes:[/h2]
- Enemy damage reduction now decreases by 1% each turn
- All enemies on the same floor now drop the same amount of gold, with an extra gold reward for the final battle on that floor.
Bug Fixes & Other Improvements
- Fixed crashes and bugs on Floors above 100.
- Numerous co-op bugs have been fixed.
- General fixes and optimizations for a smoother gameplay.
