Mega Update Beta Test (Online Сo-op + New Content)

Hello everyone, thank you all so much for your support with Megaloot - we love you and are working hard on a mega update that brings Online Co-op and tons of new content, balancing, and fixes! ❤️

To make sure everything is just right, we need your feedback. That’s why we’re launching a beta test for the update along with a Google Form for you to share your thoughts.

Here’s in general what’s new in the update:

Online Co-op mode
Battle Log
Specializations for all adventurers
All spells are now spell books
New items
Adjusted set and stat effects
Special chests now spawn when choosing a trial (difficulty options)
Increased item limits
Exponential item stat upgrades from merging
New stats and status effects

Hello everyone, Megaloot is on sale for 20% starting today and ending on October 13th and for that, we'd like to announce our first Major Content update, If you're enjoying Megaloot, please consider writing a review as it helps us continue improving the game ❤️

Balance Changes

Smoothed out gold gain on items.
Market refresh price scales based on strongest enemy on floor.
Gold gain removed from all items.

Nerfed Mercenary Set.
Added Overheal mechanic.
Barrier no longer activates when magic shield is active.
Nerfed "Legacy" specialization.
Buffed Warrior set.
Moved spell bind ability from Zephyrons set to the ring.

Increased combat insight limit to 25.

UI & UX Updates

New borders added for top 1% players.
Added a more descriptive message when leaderboards fail to load.
Borders now visible when starting a new game.
Added hold to open for elite chests.
Reduced heal SFX volume.

New specializations

Last Fren's specialization.
Pyry specialization with a new status effect
Tyr specialization.
Fael specialization.
Riel specialization.
Viran specialization.
Elys specialization.
Jace specialization.
Sid specialization (moved total attack bonus to Sid).
Kinno specialization.

Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug where the game wouldn't pause when pressing escape or when in options.
Fixed a bug where if the player saved during an animation of the next enemy appearing it would remove them when resuming.
Fixed self invulnerability getting removed during the turn.
Fixed a bug related to immortal chests and random crashes.
Fixed a duplication glitch.
Optimized death messages to improve leaderboard connections and reduce freezing.
Potential fix for freezing when loading leaderboards.

Performance Improvements

Optimized SQL system to reduce CPU usage and improve performance for leaderboard connections.
Improved the leaderboards system to reduce stutters
