FUTURE UPDATES INFORMATION
  • We have recently released two major updates, and here is the third! We will continue to provide bug fixes, but there will be no additional content as we shift our full focus to the ZOMBIE mode coming for Halloween.
  • After Halloween, No stress we will resume regular updates!
  • Our goal is to create the Most realistic, terrifying, and immersive round-based zombie mode ever made.

ADDED
  • Bomb House Reworked: The map has been reworked and optimized, now available in all traditional game modes.
  • (For those who like the "airsoft house" version, the goal was to create a structured real house, with a bedroom, balcony, entrance, and staircase. We think you will love it)*.
  • Localization and Translation: Added support for the following languages:
  • English - French - Italian - German - Spanish (Spain) - Arabic - Japanese - Korean - Russian - Simplified Chinese*.
  • (All text not yet translated will default to English.)*


INFORMATION
  • Team Deathmatch and Deathmatch: The mode remains the same, but we've added a timer to prevent games from dragging on, especially when the lobby isn't full.


CHANGES
  • Worn House Basement: We added new access to the basement, which was highly requested! This includes a new door and a modified roof at the exit location.
  • Map Fix: We made some mini map fixes to improve the experience by removing or patching up certain objects. Confirmed players will recognize the changes.


UI
  • Item Detection Distance: We’ve improved ground item detection, making it easier to throw back grenades
  • (though we still recommend not trying).* The detection distance has been reduced for realism, and the item now appears only when it’s at your feet.
  • Locker Visual: Improved locker and shop visuals, preparing for an upcoming system update.


FIXES
  • Public Pool: Vines now have collision, allowing you to shoot through them.
  • (Apologies for the damaged drones!)*.
  • Only Pistol: Fixed a bug that only gave players a pistol in Deathmatch.
  • K for Kill: Fixed.
  • Activate Flashlight: Fixed a bug where activating a flashlight on a dropped gun caused issues.

SUMMARY
Bodycam update V0.1.2.8 introduces two new maps, "Public Pool" and "The Pit," along with new game modes: a 1v1 duel and Team Death Match. The update also features reworks of existing maps, including balancing adjustments and improved gameplay elements, alongside enhanced UI and various fixes for a smoother experience.


ADDED

  • NEW MAP : Public Pool
    Fight through a derelict public pool complex, offering close quarters combat and open areas for intense gunfights.
  • NEW MAP : The Pit
    An arena-style map designed for intense 1v1 duels, with randomized layouts for each match.
  • (ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE NEW "THE PIT" MODE)*
  • NEW GAMEMODE : The Pit
    1V1 duel with the map changing each round. Perfect game mode to face your friends and find out who is the strongest.
  • NEW GAMEMODE : Team Death Match
    (2 teams with respawn enabled, first team to reach 100 kills wins).


INFORMATIONS

  • Gamemode Name Switch :
    The previous "Team Deathmatch" is now called Versus, to make room for the new traditional Team Death Match mode.
  • Team Selection System Improved :
    Team selection now takes place at the start of the game and cannot be changed in-game for better balancing.
  • Contributors Graffiti Added :
    All the contributors' graffiti have been added to the training map and some will appear in future maps or in reworks of old maps!


CHANGES

  • Russian Building Modified and Improved :
    Added new paths and made balancing adjustments.
  • Abandoned Hospital Modified and Improved :
    Various collision fixes for smoother gameplay.
  • Worn House Modified and Improved :
    Added new paths, new visuals, and made balancing adjustments.
  • Player Spawn System :
    We improved the spawn system by making it more intelligent and flexible for all game modes, like spawning automatically next to your allies in modes that allow it.


UI

  • Scoreboard Improved :
    Enhanced visuals and added player ranks next to their names.
  • Settings Improved :
    Visuals improved and you can now change your lobby settings in the settings menu.
  • UI : Map & Gamemode Selection :
    You now select the mode first, then the maps available for that mode. Unique and mode-specific maps are labeled accordingly. We've also added labels like "new," "updated," "patch," and more to keep you informed on each mode and map's status.


PLAYER

  • Player Skin reacts to the Dynamic Weather :
    Depending on the weather, your clothing accessories will now react to it, making characters even more realistic.
  • Player reacts to Flashbang and Scream :
    Now you can tell if your enemies are under the effect of your flashbang by hearing them scream. Be careful, as the effect may vary depending on how the enemy received the flash.
  • Aiming Sensitivity and Balancing :
    FPS-dependent adjustment of aiming sensitivity and motion balancing. For players with high or low FPS, camera movements will now remain consistent.
  • Camera :
    Improved camera movement and effects, including reworked leaning mechanics.
  • Right/Left Sprinting :
    Added right and left sprinting options for enhanced mobility.


FIXES

  • Dead Body Performance Optimization :
    Reduced performance impact caused by dead bodies.
  • Gun Game Weapon Swap Fix :
    Addressed weapon swap issues in Gun Game mode.
  • Bunny Hop Fix :
    Fixed issues with bunny hopping.
  • Mantle Animation Fix :
    Resolved animation issues when mantling.
  • Inventory Drop Fix :
    Fixed problems with dropping items from the inventory.
  • R-Points/Rank Points System Reworked :
    Improved rank points attribution for better progression tracking.


BETA

  • Localization and Translation (All text not yet translated and will default to English) :
    Added support for the following languages: French, Chinese, Russian, Dutch.

Hello everyone, Reissad Studio was at Gamescom 2024 (Léo, zoox (Our manager) and Luca from left to right)!

We had the chance to meet tons of amazing people who will help us continue to push Bodycam in multiple ways for the direction we want Bodycam to go in. This is really promising, and we are really excited to see where it'll lead us all!

We cannot announce anything officially any of our projects at the moment as we are still in the early-talks stage but the future seems brightfor Bodycam gamers.

We are also back from vacation, which means that updates are slowly going to be back, and we have more motivation than ever! More information about that in the near future, so stay tuned... 👀

ADDED
  • NEW GAMEMODE: Gun game
    Each player begins with a basic pistol. You're upgraded to the next weapon every time you kill 3 enemies with your gun. When someone cycles through all weapons, the match ends.
  • NEW MAP: Bomb House
  • (BODYBOMB MODE ONLY)*
    The house bomb is a defense and attack simulation for the Body bomb mode. It puts you in the position of a team who must find a way to defuse a hidden bomb in a house.
  • NEW MAP: Backroom (Added because the easter egg has been found)
    "If you're not careful and you noclip out of reality in the wrong areas, you'll end up in the Backrooms, where it's nothing but the stink of old moist carpet, the madness of mono-yellow, the endless background noise of fluorescent lights at maximum hum-buzz, and approximately six hundred million square miles of randomly segmented empty rooms to be trapped in. God save you if you hear something wandering around nearby, because it sure as hell has heard you…"

    Added "Apophis" by KIL KROOK.


CHANGES
  • Head Clip
    You can't see through walls anymore.
  • Map Abandonned Hospital
    Map correction and balancing. (The shadow zone where the bomb was often dropped has now been removed to promote balance. Objects have been added and others removed from extended walls to make the map more competitive. Adjustment of all the places where the bomb could get stuck.)
  • FSR 3
    Better optimization and FPS Boost (It depends on your configuration, we recommend you try it to see if you get more fps.)
  • UI: Map & Gamemode Selection
    We've modified the display of game modes and maps. From now on, you'll first select the mode and then the maps available for that mode. Like before, please note that some maps are unique or only available in certain modes. We've also added information such as “new / update / patch / and more...” to give you information on the status of a game mode or map.
  • Aiming sensitivity and balancing
    FPS-dependent adjustment of aiming sensitivity and motion balancing. For those with high or low fps, camera movements will remain the same.
  • Camera
    Improving camera movement and effects.
  • Guns
    Increased Glock and Deagle damage.
  • Player
    Improving mobility to avoid getting stuck in too many obstacles.

Hello Bodycam community,

Being gamers ourselves, we know how much it means when a studio shares its news and updates. So, here's our first Studio News! We have some exciting updates from the studio that we'd like to share with you!

[h3]Studio Development Updates[/h3]
  • New Leadership Search: We are currently looking for a new General Manager to handle the administrative side of the studio and explore opportunities for Bodycam’s growth and development.
  • Anti-Cheat Collaboration: We're working on an anti-cheat system in collaboration with another company to ensure fair play and a great experience for all players.
  • Team Expansion: Our team is gradually growing while maintaining our indie studio spirit. We will introduce the new team members to you soon.
  • Taking a Breather: Leo and I have slowed down our pace a bit to rest and regain some social life, but this is only temporary!
  • Zombie Mode for Halloween: The dev team is mainly working on the zombie mode for the upcoming Halloween event, which was announced in the game's roadmap.
  • Maps and Bug Fixes: The design team is focusing on new maps and fixing bugs to improve your gaming experience. A new map inspired by the airsoft map you all loved will be released soon.
