We’re excited to announce the release of Flying Tank 2.0! The game has been available in Early Access for over a year as part of the 1.x series. We’re incredibly grateful for your patience and feedback, which have helped us improve the game significantly.

As part of the 2.0 release on Steam, we’re introducing four new tanks:



Tengri Vengador - Use the Biomass Harvester ability to collect Biomass blobs simply by shooting at them! Extract more Biomass from human tissue and even repair some bodywork through vehicular manslaughter.

Sigma Prototype - Enjoy the longest lasting Overdrive, Shield, Invulnerability and Hyper Focus with its Super Power ability. The duration of all collectible power-ups is doubled!

Wardozer - Smash into your enemies with impunity. Combine your unique Crusher power with the Combat Bumper upgrade and repair damage by running down chains of smaller enemies.

Radiant - Extra Special in more than just its name - every Special you choose will be boosted with an extra charge or duration! Use it to create the most powerful Unmaker Omega or any other Special-focused build.

Another noteworthy feature is the new Coop UI, designed to provide a more streamlined local multiplayer experience. While game controllers remain the preferred way to enjoy multiplayer, we’ve also added support for a split keyboard setup. This allows two players to use a single keyboard during Remote Play Together sessions.



Additionally, the graphics have been upgraded to feature sharper visuals and smoother animations. We’ve also added support for variable refresh rates on gaming monitors with FreeSync and G-SYNC, enhancing frame pacing in fullscreen mode for a smoother gaming experience.

We're also releasing a Flying Tank Demo, which includes the first 8 missions. If you decide to purchase the full game, your progress from the demo will carry over.

Experiment with various play styles for each Tank and create loadouts with equipment customized to your tank's Unique Power.


[h3]Mastery Rewards[/h3]
Grind with purpose using the new Mastery system; replay missions to fill the Mastery Wreath and earn rewards with extra Biomass or Tanks. Even a failed mission adds percentages to the Mastery.


[h3]Localization[/h3]
You can now fully enjoy the game story with localization available in German, French, Spanish (LatAm), and Czech languages.

[h3]Soundtrack[/h3]
A new pumped up track has been added to the gameplay loop: Interstellar by Kubatko.

Hello Pilots,

We always knew the price would increase as we release new chapters.

If you are reading this before October 2, 2023, then you still have time to get the game at 15% off the launch price during Steam SHMUP Fest between September 25 - October 2, which will be about as cheap as the game will be for quite a while.

After that the game will go from $4.99 to $7.99 USD, and all other currencies will increase as well in a similar proportion.
