In today’s news post we’ll dip into the heart of post-apocalyptic rivalries and how you can survive the human element in Permafrost.

Rival factions battle for supremacy amidst the icy ruins to build out the narrative in Permafrost, in a world plunged into chaos with civil order now just a memory you have careful choices to make as you endure the harsh realities of the frozen wilderness. In Permafrost you have the ability to go it alone or you can choose to formulate alliances that fit your outlook. Forming alliances affect player progression and adds another layer to the gameplay.

The Moon Cult is one such rival faction you may cross paths with, you’ll see their handy work and how they use icicles to display their unfortunate victims, they are not to be taken lightly.

Will you work alone or look for like-minded souls to forge an alliance with to increase your chances of survival.

Hello Survivors,

We are delighted to share the next step on our development journey with you. We’ve been hard at work at expanding not only the gameplay systems but the world of Permafrost and can reveal the new area “Urban District” to you.

Here you step out of the rural landscape into a city area with apartment buildings, condos and tower blocks.
If you are willing to take the risk and enter this war-torn district with its rivalling factions fighting for supremacy, you will be handsomely rewarded.

But there is no time for sightseeing, even though the transformation from a once vivid area buzzing with the hustle and bustle of city life into a white landscape marked by ice and snow is a beauty to behold. Not to mention the memorable characters you will meet along the way.

Enter the buildings, search for quality tools and blueprints and make sure that you and your four-legged friend survive, Then and only then can you try and bring society together again and overcome the Permafrost.
