Hey everyone!

Another small update ahead of the weekend :)

We're continuing to work on addressing any bugs and balance problems and will be patching again shortly.

Patch Notes
  • Fixed perks installed on cameras being removed if the camera was attached to a room, and the room was moved
  • Fixed some typos in English
  • Improved messaging on a marketing Sandbox goal
  • Fixed soft lock in Desert Act 1 which was caused by unlocking the Spa Point but building and upgrading it in another Museum
  • Fixed other possible causes of soft locks in Desert level
  • Fixed counters in Ravenous Caverns and S.S.Silverbottom
  • Updated Greasy Fields and Cold Mines as some exhibits were taking a very long time to find
  • Fixed another case of school trips becoming stuck
  • Update Idol Grab and Sonic Grabber so that guests don't want to go on duplicate versions right away
  • Fixed issues where Mayoral visits were not triggering as complete even though they received an exceptional rating
  • Fixed instances of stars becoming out of sync

We're now fully released! It was an incredible day yesterday for us at the studio and we're so excited to see so many people enjoying Two Point Museum!

[h2]Exhibit A: Exploring for Artefacts[/h2]


As Curator, the design and management of your expanding museum is in your hands. Send your team of partially trained experts on expeditions in search of rare and mostly well-preserved artefacts. When (and hopefully not if) your experts return from their adventure, proudly display their fantastic finds in your ever expanding museum.

As you progress through the game, unlock new locations as you decide where the next adventure takes you. Whether you're digging for dinos in the Bone Belt, growing your increasingly carnivorous collection of plants (watch out for the Chomper!), sensing spooky vibes in Wailon Lodge or searching for the long-lost civilization of Wetlantis, Two Point Museum has something that every aspiring-curator will be interested in.

[h2]Exhibit B: Design-osaurus[/h2]


Two Point Museum gives you more decorative freedom, so design thematic areas to guide guests or create a more ‘open plan’ approach depending on your playstyle. Splash paint and lay carpet as you lovingly arrange each prehistoric fern, potentially melting iceman, and unusual dino remnants wherever you see fit.

Once you’ve created the perfect atmosphere, arrange guided tours with custom routes led by a charismatic Expert, which help to enrich your guests' experience, museum buzz, generating more donations, to keep your museum running!

[h2]Exhibit C: Guest-ertainment[/h2]


Guests know best! The different types of guests who will frequent your museum may have different interests, but they do have some things in common… they expect the place to be kept clean, have plenty of refreshments, ample toilets, and a gift shop filled with goodies. And, of course, they need to be dazzled with knowledge of your exhibits, which are kept well-maintained by the staff you will need to manage and train to keep them happy. Make sure the children don’t realize they’re learning though and keep them occupied with interactive displays!

[h2]Exhibit D: Security![/h2]

Thieves, and more frequently, children, are known for touching and grubbing up the displays, so make sure enough security is guarding your prized collections. To stop exhibits walking out the door (we recommend using coolers for the Cavemen) you will need to hire security guards, place cameras and set up watching stations. Although don’t be too intrusive, as guests won’t enjoy themselves and will go elsewhere. 

Your biggest money-makers are the exhibits, and the thieves know it! On occasion, you'll get some cheeky chancer trying to run off with some or even a whole exhibit! Your security guards can keep watch to make sure they're apprehended so that your expedition costs aren't for nought! This is all a lot to expect for your security guards. Luckily for you, you can employ or train your guards in the strenuous work of chair sitting, or the riveting art of TV watching to always make sure there are eyes on your exhibits.

We’re totally overwhelmed by all the support and love for Two Point Museum, it’s been incredible! We’ve truly loved seeing all your comments, reviews, and some of the delightfully wild museums you’ve put together.

We’ve also been hard at work behind the scenes, squashing bugs, tweaking balance, and making sure your museums run smoother than ever. This patch brings a bunch of fixes and improvements - and removes some of the vomit - so dive in and let us know what you think!

  • Additional tutorialisation for Analysis room.
  • Twitch integration summary updated
  • Updates to Twitch integration to ensure the vomit events aren’t too overpowering!
  • Tentative fix for some lighting issues (very dark Museums!)

  • Fixed a softlock in Bungle Wasteland (Objective to display a Spa Point II can be hard locked if you can only build a Spa Point III in the workshop)
  • Fixed a bug which was causing the inventory icon to be showing above exhibits occasionally
  • Fixed a bug where visitors became clustered around exhibits occasionally
  • Fixed an issue where the guests will sometimes stop moving
  • Fix for Mulcher Objective in Bungle Wasteland - the game is now happy if you've got a higher level of Mulcher (If you've come across this bug - you will need to pick up and replace the Mulcher after the update for the objective to tick off)
  • Fix for some cases of stuck VIP visitors
  • Fix for some cases of expeditions becoming stuck when returning
  • Fixed an issue where the staff in Marketing will not leave for a break
  • Performance drop when looking at a ghost with the polterguest UI open
  • Quick Saving and quick loading during Demolition
  • Fixed issue where sandbox level starts with thief guild already active
  • Miscellaneous bugs fixes and stability improvements
