ODINFALL has officially launched into Early Access, and we’ve been blown away by your incredible support so far. Whether you’re rampaging as a Viking Moose or blasting enemies with outrageous weapons thank you for being part of the apocalypse with us!

We’ve gathered some of the most frequently asked questions about ODINFALL right here to help you dive in and make the most of your roguelite rampage. If you’ve got more questions, feel free to post them in the Steam discussions or join our Discord community!

Welcome to the apocalypse, Vikings! Here’s a quick roundup of the most frequently asked questions about ODINFALL.

🕒 How long will ODINFALL be in Early Access? ODINFALL will be in Early Access for approximately 6 months, with regular content updates and improvements along the way.

🎯 Will there be achievements?
Yes! Achievements are coming in a future update. (before 1.0)

🗺️ What's coming during Early Access and beyond?
We’ll be adding lots of new content and improvements, including:
• New characters & abilities
• Additional enemies
• More weapons, perks & modifiers
• Polishing, balancing & performance updates

📅 Is there a roadmap?
Not currently, we are taking things one step at a time so while we may not create one, we will ensure to keep you all updated through our social channels!

🎮 Does ODINFALL support controllers?
Yes! ODINFALL fully supports controllers.

🎮 Does ODINFALL support Steam Deck?
We currently are not steam deck verified, but it should work completely fine as we have full controller and 16:10 resolution support!

👥 Is there co-op or multiplayer?
To focus on delivering the best core gameplay experience, we had to place Online Co-Op on hold for now. We'll be reassessing what needs to be done to get the Co-Op mode into a releasable state, and will be talking about this more in the coming weeks.

🔁 Is there an infinite mode in ODINFALL?
Yes! After you defeat the Act Bosses for the second time and onwards, a special door will appear that leads to an infinite mode area with escalating difficulty. Good luck in there, warrior!

🛠️ What engine is ODINFALL made in?
ODINFALL is developed using Game Maker Studio 2.

💾 Will my progress carry over after Early Access?
YES! We will always avoid resetting anyone’s progression across updates.

🐛 How do I give feedback or report bugs?

💻 What platforms is ODINFALL available on?
ODINFALL is currently available on PC via Steam.

🎮 Will ODINFALL come to consoles?
We’d love to bring ODINFALL to consoles in the future, but for now our focus is on the PC version.

📹 Can I stream or create content on ODINFALL?
Absolutely! We love seeing your content – stream it, make videos, and share clips! Tag us so we can see the chaos.

Hey Vikings!

Huge thanks to everyone who took part in the recent Co-op Network Test. Your feedback was incredibly helpful and gave us some much-needed insight into the mode’s performance.

Unfortunately, we found that the co-op feature wasn’t as stable as we had initially thought. Our priority as a small indie team is to deliver a smooth and polished gaming experience for all our players. So we have made the difficult decision to launch into Early Access without the originally planned co-op mode. At this time it is best for us to concentrate our efforts on the single-player mode.

We’re dedicated to making Odinfall the most awesome game it can be, and we’re so grateful for your ongoing support and understanding.

Odinfall is shaping up to be an action-packed, chaotic adventure, and we can’t wait to share more news about what’s coming next very, very soon!
