Options Menu

• The Options Menu has been overhauled and updated to better assist Milletians with their settings.

• Tabs/Categories in the Options have been re-labeled and reorganized.
• All customizable options have been rearranged to fit the updated tab/category.
• Many options now have hover text to further explain their functionality.
• The following customization options have been removed and are permanently activated:
  
  • Dithering
  • Sky Rendering
  • Rendering Specular
  • Shadow Blurring
  • Enable Hotkeys
  • Quick Equip
  • Highlight New Items
  • Giant / Nascent Divinity Camera Height Adj.
• The following customization options have been removed and will be permanently disabled:
  • Reserve Attack
    • Auto-Attack is not being removed and has been relocated to the Gameplay tab.
• The following customization options were removed due to the option not working as intended:
  • Use NPC Theme Music
  • Using 3D Sound
• New customizable settings have been added to the Options Menu:
  • Horn Bugle - World Prem.
    • Located under Gameplay → System → View Announcements.
    • Unchecking this box will prevent all text from World Premium Bugles from appearing. Regular Bugles will still appear as normal in the Horn Channel.
  • Video Volume
    • Located under Sound → Video.
    • You can now adjust the volume of video cutscenes.
      
  • Allow Astral Imaging
    • Located under Gameplay → Social → Community.
    • Toggle this option for All players, Party members, or Guildmates only.
• The following customization options have been added to the Gameplay → Display → Show/Hide section to help increase visibility of the world of Erinn.
  • Talent Title and Icon
  • 2nd Title Icon
  • Monster Fynni Gem Icon
  • Guild Name (Self)
  • Guild Name (Others)
  • Doll Bags

• For all above customization options, unchecking the box will remove the display of said effects.
  • All options are checked by default.
    
• When entering Dunbarton square, the Simplified Display Options pop-up window will appear.
  • Clicking “Apply” will apply the recommended “Simplenogi” settings.
  • You can still fine-tune your preferences through the Options menu.
  • Clicking “Do not show again” will prevent the pop-up from appearing again.
    

NPC Shop Menu

• The UI of NPC Shops has been changed to a “list” format, allowing for better visibility on items, such as cost, inventory size, and more.
  • You can alternate between the two styles by clicking on “Switch to Bag” / “View as List” in the top right corner of the Shop Menu.
• A search function has been added.
  • The shop search function is case sensitive.
• You can now sell up to 14 items at once when selling to an NPC.
• The repurchase limit from an NPC shop has been increased from 10 to 30.

Title Menu

• Title Menu UI has been revamped.
• Improved search functionality to now include effects from titles.
  • i.e. searching “Speed” will bring up “the Busy” title.
  • The title search function is not case sensitive.
• Expanded the window for easier viewing of all titles.
• Added a “Favorites” button to have your favorite titles be automatically listed at the top.
  • You can still right-click a title to add/remove from the favorites’ list.
• A “Preview Effects” window has been added, allowing for visibility of 2nd Title Visual Effects.

Other Simplenogi Changes:

• Talent Title icons and 2nd Title icons will now be vertically centered based on all tags displayed in the name area (Guild, Talent, Name, etc.)
• Spirit Transformation Liqueur (Invisible) is now available in Berched’s shop in Taillteann.
  • When applied, all visual effects from the Spirit Weapon will be invisible.
• When defeating (most) non-boss monsters, the name will now be hidden and its body will turn transparent before disappearing.
• The Combat Log will no longer list when you’ve made a critical hit on an enemy.

[h2]Auto-pathing[/h2]

• Auto-pathing has now been added to the game as an improvement to the auto-navigation system for Milletians and their Pets.
• When clicking a location on the mini-map, a set route will automatically appear, allowing your character to run or ride all the way to its destination without making a 2nd marker.
• Auto-pathing is only available in the overworld and is not available in some areas or conditions such as:
  • Commercing
  • Dungeons
  • Shadow Missions
  • Stellar Citadel
  • Any Doki Doki Flight
• Auto-pathing will remember your pathing when on a mount and alternating between ground and sky.
  • The auto-pathing must be set before taking flight.

[h2]Patch Notes[/h2]
Fantasy Life Changes

• The Library of Secrets has been added as a Deluxe Background for Astral Imprinting.
• The name for the visual-only halo for Blaanid's Blessing has been renamed from Blessing Effect to Halo Effect. As this drop-down selection was always visual-only, not the strength of Blaanid's Blessing received, we hope that this better communicates as such.
• The death-defying technique and Cwn Annwn skill, Defiance and Veil of Mystique, have had their priorities altered. When the conditions are met, Defiance will now activate before Veil of Mystique.
• All non-gold currency will no longer be able to be stored in your bank.
  • Note: Any non-gold currency currently stored in your bank account will be automatically moved to the character based on the tab the currency is stored in.
  • These include currency such as:
    • Dungeon Vouchers (1st Voucher, 2nd Voucher, etc.)
    • Adventure Seals
    • Gold-Leaf Pine Cones

Bug Fixes

• Thank you all for your continued reports! A lot of smaller text fixes here and there with this patch, notably updating the descriptions for Upgrade Stones to better indicate their use, polishing up text for Fate Astrologer, shortening some of the lengthier buff-related ticker messages, and correcting the necessary book for rank 3 Rest's upgrade. Also, a new description for Cilantro's favorite food!
• While we were updating the UIs, several text boxes have been updated to better fit the text inside the field.
• An issue has been fixed that was causing the Set Effect Bash Enhancement +1 Scrolls and Set Effect Windmill Enhancement +1 Scrolls to not work on the following items:
  • Set Effect Bash Enhancement +1 Scroll
    • Perseus Brutal War Hammer
    • Nightbringer Enforcer
  • Set Effect Windmill Enhancement +1 Scroll
    • Perseus Steeled Sword
    • Perseus Brutal War Hammer
    • Perseus Vigilant Shield
    • Nightbringer Assault
    • Nightbringer Enforcer
    • Nightbringer Vanguard
• Bow-wielding Humans of Erinn, your time has come. The issue causing Arrow Revolver to lock characters in place when the burst fire was cast in extreme rapid succession with other attacks has been fixed. Nock your arrows, fire them well!
• Under rare circumstances, players could find themselves with two Homestead Houses. The issue has been fixed, allowing players to remove the faulty house.
  • Despite this sounding affluent, this would lock them out from doing most things relating to the House.
• Effie found a few boxes of clothes in the back of her shop- these items have returned back for purchase in her Shop.
• Although he's a star, the Treasure Hunter Ace Talent was unintentionally giving 2x Skill Training to Fate Astrologer skills. This has been corrected.
• Corrected the listed Collection Categories on the Black Moon Commanders Compact Doll Bag Box. The Bag is unchanged.

2/13 Maintenance

• The issue causing Astral Frames to display incorrectly (missing subjects/stickers/etc) has been fixed. The issue has occurred one last time with this week's maintenance as we corrected the root of the issue; Astral Frames will stop resetting starting next week. Frames that are currently displaying incorrectly cannot be automatically fixed, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

2/27 Maintenance

• The Black Rose Wig (F) from Tolly's Fashion event was not properly removed- we snatched your wig in this maintenance.

Known Bugs:

• 
• For those truly dedicated to Commerce and keeping Erinn stocked up- when reaching over 4.3 billion ducats, the inventory window will incorrectly return the value to 0.
  • This is a display only issue- if you obtained another 1 billion ducats after this, the display would show 1b but you would correctly have 5.3b.
• The props used for Special Idle Motions are currently showing incorrectly at the start of animation cycles.
• There are currently issues causing the Blacklist to not work as expected for some players.
• Under periodic conditions, Milletians will be temporarily unable to duel other Milletians.
• There is an issue with the in-game Guild list not populating with guilds.

Maintenance has concluded as of 9:01 AM PST and the servers are available once more. We thank you for your patience.

Each quest will unlock on Thursdays at 7:00 AM PST/PDT (or after Maintenance)Week 1: March 6th, Week 2: March 13th, etc. Cairbre’s Bugle of Abundant Blessings - similar to other Cairbre’s bugles, this special bugle can only be used after having acquired Melody Step from Music Jam. Upon using, your Melody Step will be upgraded in both power and time, becoming Exalted Melody Step. This new buff lasts for 3 hours and gives you a +5 Musical Buff! Now run and spread the celebration all across Erinn!
[h2]Daily & Achievement Quests[/h2]
It’s a month of celebration, with rewards to earn every day with the Daily Quest - [Event] 17th Anniversary: Treat Thyself!
Looking to experience it all? You’ll earn a hefty amount of Story Snippets in return by completing objectives in the Achievement Quest - [Event] 17th Anniversary: The Mabinogi, Our Never-Ending Story.

[h2]Celebration of Mini-games[/h2]
What’s an anniversary celebration without mini-games? The Booksprites around the library have set up many different types of mini-games to test your skills, knowledge, and reflexes. You’ll earn unique prizes from each mini-game, so be sure to check them all out!

• Attempting any of the mini-games will net you a 17th Anniversary Story Snippet.
• You can only earn 5 Story Snippets per day (resets at 7:00 AM PST/PDT) across all mini-games. Don’t try to fool the Booksprites, they know and see all!

[h3]Stage of Trials[/h3]
Looking to showcase your achievements and scale the toughest boss rush Erinn has to offer? The Stage of Trials is for you then! The trials have two modes: Basic and Veteran. Talk to Fofo who is next to Nono in the Library or read below on what to expect:

• In Basic, you’ll be given a rest point after every 3 rounds.
  • Additionally, the stage manager will apply one of the following buffs of your choosing:
    • Power
    • Defense
    • Speed
• In Veteran, you’ll attempt to clear it without any rest period or extra buffs.

Of course, we wouldn’t leave our most courageous Milletians without goodies!

• Completing at least the first stage of the trials each day will count towards the Daily and Achievement Quests of the Event.
  • Limit once per real life day; resets at 7:00 AM PST/PDT.
• For each attempt, you can choose your type of reward EXP:
  • Combat EXP
  • Exploration EXP
  • Music Renown EXP
  • Life Renown EXP
• Finally, the Booksprites are providing titles for those who reach the following accomplishments:
  

• * Stats Expire after 30 days once awarded.** If you already acquired the “who Took the First Step to the Stage” title from the 16th Anniversary Event, you will not receive another.

• Log in during the event period to receive the quest [Guide] Kid In Need’s Request
  • Either find the Kid in Need in front of the Unicorn Statue in Dunbarton or read the letter provided to you in your inventory.
  • You’ll receive a Stamp Employee Contract. Use it to register your account for the event, allowing you to participate on all characters.
  • Completing [Guide] Kid In Need’s Request will award you with the following items:
    • 1,000 EXP
    • Pan's Support Selection Box x7
• Once registered, a calendar icon will appear on your screen.
  • You can view the calendar by clicking on the icon.
    • There are a total of 3 calendars with 28 days each, for a total of 84 days.
  • You can also view how many stamps you have, how much time is remaining before you receive your daily stamp, or how far along you are!
• An Event Clock Timer is also available so you can check your Daily Stamp progress at a glance without opening the Event Menu.

• You now have even more ways to earn a stamp each day!
  • Complete any of the following to earn a stamp:

    • Daily Tara Shadow Mission
    • Baltane Mission
      • Excluding Nowhere to Run, Gatekeeper, and Knights of the Round Table missions.

  • Stay logged in for 1 hour to earn a stamp.
    • Staying logged in on any character will count towards the 1 hour needed to collect the stamp.
    • If you still have time remaining on your Event Clock timer and it is already 7:00 AM PT, the remaining time will not reset.
    • If you log out and log in after 7:00 AM PT the next day without completing the previous day's attendance, the remaining time you had is still counted and you can continue to stay logged in to complete the attendance.
    • Once the attendance is complete, for the two situations above, you can no longer continue with the current day's attendance.
• You will only receive 1 stamp per day.
• Rewards that weren’t claimed from the event calendar can be claimed by talking to Lorna in various Uladh towns.
  • The rewards will be available for 1 week after the event ends from June 12th, After Maintenance ~ June 19th, Before Maintenance.
  • When talking to Lorna after the event has ended, any unclaimed rewards will be sent to the character's Point Shop Inventory. 

[h2]Attendance Pass[/h2]

• If you miss a day, you can purchase up to 2 Attendance Pass per week for 500,000 Gold each.
  • Additional passes needed per week can be purchased for 29 Pon.
    
• The Attendance Pass will stamp one day you missed on the calendar.
• The Attendance Pass is not an item that is stored in your inventory; instead, when purchased, the pass is immediately used.
• The amount of passes you can buy increases daily, if you missed a previous day's login.
