Event Dates: Thursday, December 12th, After Maintenance - Thursday, February 13th, Before Maintenance

• During the entire event period, the following benefits will be active:
  • Up to 12x Skill Training Cap for Astrologer Skills
  • 10 Skill Lifter for Astrologer Skills (Gain 10% Skill Training when advancing to the next level of a skill)

• During the event, you will receive the guide quest, [Event] Battle Astrology Talent Support: Weapon.
• Talk to the Wandering Astrologer in Tir Chonaill near the Blacksmith's Shop.
• Register a main character with the Wandering Astrologer, as part of the Master Plan: Brilliantly Shining Star Event questline.
• You can only register one character per account.
• You will receive the following rewards after completing [Event] Battle Astrology Talent Support: Weapon:
  • 22,000 EXP
  • 22,000 Gold
  • Perseus Peregrine Scythe

• Immediately after completing the previous quest and questlines, you will receive the quest [Event] Battle Astrology Talent Support: Enhancement.
  • You will receive the following rewards after completing [Event] Battle Astrology Talent Support: Enhancement:
    • 22,000 EXP
    • 22,000 Gold
    • Various Objective Rewards
• Progress for all quest objectives can be tracked in your Battle Astrology Talent Support UI! You can access this by clicking on the Scythe icon under your Event UI.

Note: All reward items received from the quest objectives are not tradable, and can only be used on the special Perseus Peregrine Scythe given by the event.

The movements of the stars tell stories about our past, present, and even the future. Astrologers study star patterns and make predictions about what the future may hold. People with this special talent can see a multitude of possibilities hidden in the stars. Meet Neal and Delaney, witness the Stellar Citadel, and reach for the stars as you gain new talents and skills, wielding powerful weapons in the new Astrologer update!

The Astrologer update continues with the Fate Astrologer talent!

• A new Battle Astrologer Talent and 12 new Battle Astrologer skills have been added.
  • The Astrology tab has been added to the Skill information window.
  • Battle Astrologer related items, titles and journal achievements have been introduced.
  • New Grandmaster quests and Advancement Tests for Battle Astrology have been added.
• Additional details for Battle Astrologer can be viewed on the dedicated microsite.

[h3]Astrology Scenario Quests Part 1[/h3]

• New Milletians who choose Battle Astrology for their first talent after rebirthing will be granted ‘the Aspiring Guide of Starlight’ 1st title.
  • Title Effects:
    • Magic Attack +15
    • MP +20
    • HP +20
  • The title is available to you until you reach Level 10,000.

After completing [Astrologer] A Starlit Summons, you will receive Neal’s Letter. Use his letter to receive the first quest of the scenario, [Astrologer] On the Pilgrim’s Path.

  • Complete the quest to unlock the Nova Blast skill, 5,000 Gold, and 50,000 EXP.
• [Astrologer] The Hall Where Knowledge Shines
  • Complete the quest to unlock the Stellar Surge skill, 5,000 Gold, and 50,000 EXP.
• [Astrologer] An Astrological Orientation
  • Complete the quest to unlock the Meridian Sweep skill, 5,000 Gold, and 50,000 EXP.
• [Astrologer] The Movement of Wind and Stars
  • Complete the quest to unlock the Orbital Pulse skill, 5,000 Gold, and 50,000 EXP.
• [Astrologer] Faces of the Moons
  • Complete the quest to unlock the Starlight Veil and Gravity Well skills, 5,000 Gold, and 50,000 EXP.
• [Astrologer] A Story Writ in Starlight
  • Complete the quest to unlock the Celestial Conjunction and Stellar Citadel skills, 5,000 Gold, and 50,000 EXP.
• [Astrologer] The Workings of the Stellar Citadel
  • Complete the quest to unlock the Hand of Destiny and Fate Foretold skills, 5,000 Gold, and 50,000 EXP, and the Canopus Orb.

The Stellar Citadel

• After completing the quest, [Astrologer] A Story Writ in Starlight, NPC Delaney will be located in the Stellar Citadel.
  • The Dispositor Scythe and Canopus Orb is available in Delaney’s shop.
  • Delaney will provide upgrades for Scythe items.
  • You can receive the Astrologer Collection Book for the Mabinovel from Delaney.

General Battle Astrologer Skills

• Skills can only be used while equipped with a Scythe.
• AP Training cannot be used for skills of this talent.

[h3] Battle Astrology Mastery[/h3]

• A passive skill that increases your Astrologer skills through Magic Attack (+100 MA at Rank 1).

[h3] Astral Reave[/h3]

• This is an active skill that attacks one enemy at a distance (within 10m at Dan 3).

[h3] Nova Blast[/h3]

• This is an active skill that attacks enemies within a 6m radius at Dan 3.
• When the star arrives at the target location, it releases all of its energy in a single burst, scathing enemies in a wide radius.

[h3] Stellar Surge[/h3]

• This is a charging active skill that attacks enemies within a rectangular area with a distance of 14m and a width of 4m at Dan 3.
• While charging, the area where you can deal 100% damage within the maximum distance increases, and beyond this area, the damage decreases with distance.
• This attack strikes all enemies in a straight line. The longer the skill's hotkey is held, the greater distance it can cover before its full damage begins to fall off. Enemies beyond that range will still be hit, though for reduced damage.

[h3] Meridian Sweep[/h3]

• This is an active skill that moves to a desired location within a 10.5m distance based on Dan 3 and attacks enemies up to 3 times.
• You can select a location while holding down the skill button, and when you release the skill button, the skill will be cast in the direction and location of the mouse cursor.

[h3] Orbital Pulse[/h3]

• An active area of effect skill that targets all foes surrounding you up to a 5.5m radius (based on Rank 1).
• Successful attacks will stun all enemies within range for up to 4 seconds (based on Rank 1).

[h3] Starlight Veil[/h3]

• A powerful area of effect skill that can be placed on the ground, healing your allies' HP by 500 (based on Rank 1) within 6m of the skill's focal point.
• This skill will also reduce the Min Damage, Max Damage, and Magic Attack of enemies by 8% with the debuff lasting 30 seconds (based on Rank 1).

[h3] Gravity Well[/h3]

• This skill allows you to harness the power of gravity to quickly move to a new location.
• The longer you wait with the skill active, the longer you'll be able to leap, with a maximum movement range at 9.5m at 100% (based on Rank 1).
• Despite utilizing gravity to move, this skill does not damage foes.

[h3] Fate Foretold[/h3]

• This skill can only be used after activating all the cards you've drawn from Hand of Destiny.
  • Damage increases proportionally depending on the number of cards drawn.
• This skill will attack a single monster with damage that is equal to 2000% of your Magic Attack (based on Rank 1).
• The different cards chosen can alter the skill significantly ranging from:
  • Offense: 5% Bonus Damage per card
  • Support: Restore 150 HP per card to each party member.
  • Control: Ignore 5 Magic Defense and 3 Magic Protection per card.
  • Fortune: Critical Damage +2% per card.

[h3] Stellar Citadel[/h3]

• This skill allows you to move to the Stellar Citadel, where you can edit the skill effects of Celestial Conjunction and set the tarot cards of Fate Foretold.

[h3] Celestial Conjunction[/h3]

• You can customize each Battle Astrology skill to your needs and apply additional skill effects, further adjusting the Astrology talent skills to your liking.
• The extra effects are based on the number of stars in each skill's constellation.
  • Ex. Fate Foretold can grant 5 additional effects.
• A skill's aspect will change according to the type of effect predominantly slotted into the nodes of its constellation chart.
  
  • Offense, Support, Control, Fortune
    
• The skills that can be edited are as follows, and the type and number of effects that can be edited is different for each skill.
  
  • Astral Reave, Nova Blast, Stellar Surge, Meridian Sweep, Orbital Pulse, Starlight Veil, Gravity Well, Fate Foretold
    
• The total number and type of effects that can be applied vary depending on the skill rank, and no separate resources are consumed for applying effects.
  
• Effect editing is only possible within the Stellar Citadel.

[h3] Hand of Destiny[/h3]

• Allows you to customize buffs and skills to maximize your divine fortune through the power of the tarot cards.
• You can customize your card hand to create synergy and more bonuses such as:
  • Magic Attack Increase
  • Movement Speed Increase
  • Control Card Effect Duration Increase
  • Reduced Draw Count
• You can choose up to 5 cards (at Rank 1) that will be utilized as you use other Astrologer Skills.
• After using a set number of Astrologer Skills (7 skills at Rank 1), you will draw a card, allowing for an additional effect depending on the card drawn.
  • See below for each card and it's effect.

[h2]Battle Astrologer Weapons[/h2]
New Scythe weapons and Orb auxiliary weapons have been added.

• Dispositor Scythe
• Scythe of Blossoming Memories
• Celtic Triplicity Scythe
• Perseus Peregrine Scythe
• Nightbringer Observer
• Canopus Orb
• Perseus Arcturus Orb
• Nightbringer Vega

Scythe weapons can now be contracted with a Spirit and includes the following Spirit Weapon Skill:

• Spirit Scythe Awakening
  • Using the skill will deal 1700% Damage (+5% per Spirit Level) at Rank 1.
  • Will also increase Bonus Damage by 10% for 75 seconds at Rank 1.

New Magic Craft recipes have been added for Scythes and Orbs:

• Celtic Triplicity Scythe
• Perseus Peregrine Scythe
• Nightbringer Observer
• Perseus Arcturus Orb
• Nightbringer Vega

[h2]Battle Astrologer Upgrades[/h2]
Scythe weapon upgrades have been added.

• Normal upgrades and Artisan upgrades specific to Scythes can be accessed through NPC Delaney located in the Stellar Citadel.
• The new Scythe weapons cannot be modified using the existing Scythe upgrades.
• The existing Scythes cannot be modified using the new Scythe normal and Artisan upgrades.

Battle Astrology Related Reforging options are added.

• Discontinued Reforging Tools (Fine, Credne's, etc.) cannot be used on the newly added Scythe and Orb items. They can be used on existing Scythes, but the Battle Astrology related options will not appear.

Battle Astrology related attributes will be available for Blue Echostones.

New Celtic Signets for Scythe weapons have been added.

• Celtic Signet: Celtic Triplicity Scythe
• Advanced Celtic Signet: Celtic Triplicity Scythe

New Enchants related to Battle Astrology have been added.

• An Orb category has been added to the Auction House under the Magic Weapon sub-category. Scythe weapons can be found in the Melee Weapon subcategory, Two-handed Weapons.
• You can save Scythe Appearance Scroll appearances in the Dressing Room.
• New items related to Battle Astrology will be added.
  • Condensed Strength Fragment: Scythe and Condensed Strength Fragment: Orb has been added to the clear rewards for Erg 40 ~ 100 difficulty in Crom Bas.
    • You can also purchase it from the NPC Gillach's shop.
  • Astrology Skill Training 2x EXP Potion Set is added to NPC Melwyn’s shop.
  • Battle Astrology Talent related stones for Alban Knights Training Grounds will be added to the reward list of some Uladh dungeons and the Alban Knights Training Stone Selection Box.
  • Four types of advancement tickets have been added to the Lucky Advancement Ticket Box, obtainable from the Erinn Merchants' Guild Souvenir Box.
    • Astral Reave, Nova Blast, Stellar Surge, and Meridian Sweep
  • Battle Astrology related combo cards have been added. The following skills are added to the combo card.
  • 3 new Gold Combo Cards are added.
    • Benefit Gold Combo Cards can be obtained by clearing Shadow Missions and Theater Missions.
    • Special Gold Combo Card: Battle Astrologer (Nova Blast) and Special Gold Combo Card: Battle Astrologer (Stellar Surge) can be obtained from Special Gold Combo Card Pack 2.
• Newly created or adopted Blazing and Dazzling Catsidhe pets can now select Battle Astrology for it's 2x EXP Skill training bonus.
• Crom Bas has claimed additional souls, allowing you to acquire Scythe buffs during your runs.
