Magical Diary: Horse Hall News

A small update, but hopefully a fun one: We've made some modifications to the online yearbook to improve the ability to easily share your characters on social media.

First off, we've added new link options for tumblr and mastodon, so that if you have accounts on those sites you can more easily auto-generate a link by clicking on the appropriate icon.

Second, we've tinkered with the page code to get it to create a more logical "preview" option on sites with link-previewing. The easy post options should now be able to correctly load character names and thumbnails for display. An example:

Update notes:

Fixed a crash if you tried to cast spells while inside a square where Darkness had been cast.

Some changes to the way text is handled inside the dungeon. The textbox wraps differently if you're in widescreen mode, where it's no longer covered by the minimap. If text overflows the dungeon box, it now pushes itself up instead of down (to avoid text going off the screen and becoming unreadable.)

Update notes:

Fixed a bug in the Valentines Planning diary entry (the entry was incorrectly formatted, and so would crash if you tried to read it.). The fix also works with old saves. I haven't seen any other reports of unreadable diary entries, but if there are any the fix may fix them as well.

Improved behaviour when switching between compact and widescreen modes - previously some of the UI would be messed up until you quit and restarted the game, now the buttons go to the right place immediately.
