Days with girlfriends: Kello&Cammy Development Log 1 [Gameplay and CG Performance]
Hello everyone~ I am Maomao,
a game planner of [LovelyGames] (hard life, huh?)
I mentioned before that I would start publishing development logs,
but because Maomao has many responsibilities (faraway),
I have always had no time and opportunity to report to you all.
This time, "Contract Girlfriend" will open a new milestone!!!
At first, this project was a sudden idea (not really),
while making "Hot And Lovely Waifu XXII" At the same time,
considering that this gameplay exists in several games, plus the frequent feedback from everyone...
Sure enough‼ ️We must consider how to expand the gameplay of Candy Crush❗️
There are many ideas~~~
Relatively, we need to consider factors such as feasibility, fun, R&D cycle, technical requirements, production costs, etc. 。 。
For example, "adding combat elements" sounds very interesting,
there are many actual cases of competing products to refer to,
relatively, this requires increasing fixed costs,
not to mention sunk costs,
what's more terrible is that it will conflict with everyone's favorite "one-click skip" design ❌
In addition, if the level difficulty is too high, the gaming experience of some players will also deteriorate,
unlocking CG will also be difficult, which may not be very pleasing.
Rack your brains and think about it... 。 。
At this stage, we are still trying to find fun ways to play ✔

1️⃣ Enhance the interactivity between CG and the game
The primary purpose is that many players are concerned about the "problem of the separation between gameplay and CG".
This part of the problem can be big or small. After all, we all know that the goal of playing the game is of course to eliminate the game!
Since we know that everyone is looking forward to it, we will naturally respond to everyone's needs as much as possible when the situation allows.
We also want to do this, and we all hope to get better.
The latest idea is to unlock the CG by eliminating the CG pictures covered by bricks.
This promotes the integration of "three eliminations + elimination to unlock CG + standing picture performance" elements,
which can not only connect the gameplay with the CG (as shown in the attached picture),
render the game atmosphere, and enhance the motivation to play. The overall feasibility is relatively high at this stage.
[h3]2️⃣ Enhanced story and CG unlocking system[/h3]
Let CG theater be the core of positive feedback for the game.
Each character will have two short stories to create a character. Each story can unlock three CGs, and there are six CGs in total (still two modes: plot + free). We are still continuing to optimize this part. Some specific ideas are being considered and implemented. We only provide them to you for practicality. [h3]3️⃣ Optimization of female character interaction design [/h3] As a gentleman's game, character design (each XP) must be carefully considered. "Character introduction, scene interaction, character interaction" three points of entry. First of all, there should be an appropriate homepage interface. When the mouse moves into the heroine's portrait, we strive to have a variety of emotional reactions to meet the player's exploration and interaction needs. At the same time, we appropriately add information next to it to let players further understand the character. The overall setting is a kind of "immersive atmosphere"!
