[h3]Welcome back, survivors.[/h3]
We’re back with more content updates and a limited-time demo period so everyone can try them out!

Celebrating Toge Productions’ 15th Anniversary, we also want to surprise everyone with more content updates that will spice up your experience. We are thankful for the reports we received from the last limited-time demo in November last year. All the feedback we gathered is used to improve our game for our survivors to enjoy continuously. Here are a few updates that have been implemented.

[h3]More localization options.[/h3]
Three new localization options were added: Bahasa Indonesia, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. These three languages have been added together and you can try them right now during the ongoing limited-time demo.

[h3]Quick Join options added.[/h3]
The survivors who had difficulty surviving on their own can now connect seamlessly to the network with the Quick Join option from the main menu. You can choose Quick Join after you select the appropriate region to get the best connection. If there are no nearby survivors who set a lobby, you will be the one to make the room, and others will automatically join you if they also use the Quick Join function on a first-come, first-served basis. This is still in continuous development and will be improved later on.

[h3]In-game UI improvements and more![/h3]
We have implemented more UI improvements so you can get through the nightmares more confidently. The map area color will be revered as red color when you haven’t wholly swooped the room. This will make the survivors more aware as they explore each room to find key items, puzzles, and supplies. You can now change minimap rotation from fixed to auto, so the minimap follows when you rotate your character.

We also added more updates related to the character movements and the environment. Care to take another shot at surviving the dread of the hospital? Play the limited-time demo now, solo or together with your friends, and survive the terrors!

Massive thanks to you, the survivors, who had participated in the limited-time demo!

[h3]A thrilling limited-demo experience for two weeks[/h3]
We are thankful that the limited-time demo has ended and that we gained so much feedback from the community. With the help of everyone from the first week, we can constantly update the game. This allowed us to extend the demo after the bugs were cleared out so everyone could have a better experience in playing the demo.

[h3]The community events with the devs and the survivors[/h3]
We also have a few events commenced in our Discord community featuring our developers, who have worked hard and want to hear your feedback directly. We did learn a lot of insight by chatting with the developers, having fun playing mini-games, and answering some enthusiastic questions from our community. This also motivates us to continue developing the game as we engage directly with our community and are aware that many people are anticipating exciting developments from us.



We also had a community matchmaking event, a series of sessions where you can play and team up with other community members on Discord. Not only that, but we also had a representative from the devs present, observing your gameplay and taking notes of any problems you might encounter. We hope to have more sessions like this happening on the server so everyone can have a good time and experience together whether you are a veteran or new into the genre.



We received a lot of constructive and helpful feedback, and we are more than happy to use it to elevate the project even further to the standards we've set. You can also join our Discord community to find other survivors and get closer to us!

[h3]What's next for the outbreak of Mount Bisik[/h3]
If you are excited about the game, please look forward to what's to come. In the next update, we will tease more exciting updates. If you haven't had the chance to play the demo, don't worry. We will commence another one in the future with more interesting mechanics to play around with.

We've just cleaned the bugs out, and you can still play the demo until 11 November!

Haven't got the chance to fully enjoy what the demo had to offer last week? We had received your feedback and had improved the demo much further. You can still play the demo solo or together with your friends. We continuously strive to enhance the game based on everyone's feedback, aiming for a better player experience.

Now in the demo, you can choose the region according to your nearest location. But, if you plan to play together with someone from a different region, the party needs to choose a region based on the host server to play together.

Additional Feature Updates:
1. Functional controls using the Steam Deck.
2. Functional using the gamepad controls.

Bug Fixes:
1. Fix the stuck while several players are reviving a teammate.
2. Fix the volume of music and ambient getting lower when the horde appears
3. Fix the issue when a player disconnected from a co-op game, the game can’t be finished.
4. Fix the info bubble of the “Dying” state still appearing even after the player has revived.
5. Fix the stamina issue when the player is not sprinting.
6. Fix the ammo duplication issue.
7. Fix where the player gets stuck when attacking or shooting.
8. Fix where the player gets out of the map building when pushed by enemies.
9. Fix when the reload ammo is not depleting.
10. Fix changing regions that are sometimes still connected to the Singapore region.
11. Fix the player can still aim while sprinting.
12. Fix the player is not pursued by zombies in certain spots.
13. Fix the player can still move while opening inventory.
14. Fix the camera and the zombie sprite not rotating accordingly. The issue while the zombie gets attacked and the camera rotates simultaneously.
15. Fix the item placement where it can’t be picked in the same area as the puzzles.
16. Fix the grenade count in the inventory, appearing as minus count.
17. Fix the enemies getting stuck.
18. Fix the lag/freezing issue when turning off the generator.
19. Fix the collider issue on certain objects (e.g. trash can, flower pot), making the player stuck.

Escape together on this limited-time demo extended until 11 November! The limited-time demo is free to play solo or together with up to 4 players. Enjoy the 2D isometric gameplay while it's still available. Every second counts while you try to escape the haunting madness of Mount Bisik, where the horde will constantly chase you down.

[h2]Our first public demo showcase[/h2]
Be prepared for the incoming horrors this Halloween season with the first public demo release of Whisper Mountain Outbreak. The demo is available for free for everyone to play during the Steam Scream Fest. Whether you want to play solo or with a friend, the choice is up to you as you will explore the abandoned, cursed-afflicted hospital of Mount Bisik.
