Next Fest Update and Discord Announcement

Seeds of Calamity is in the Steam Next Fest event happening from now until March 3rd. As an indie dev, Steam Next Fest is a big deal and I have been waiting years for this!

As part of the Steam Next Fest I have started a Discord channel for Seeds of Calamity. This channel is a great way to give feedback as well as share your farm creations with others.

[h3]🌿Playtest [/h3]
As a reminder the extended playtest is also still running. Unlike the demo, you can play through 3 full seasons and all 3 levels of the dungeon. I have opened the playtest to everyone so just click the Request Access link on the Steam page to start playing.

Finally, here are some bug fixes and gameplay updates that I’ve been working on this past week. Thank you to everyone that has been leaving me feedback and bug reports!
Gameplay
- The Old Journal from the chest north of the farm will no longer disappear from your inventory after picking it up.
- The game will no longer crash after talking with npcs that are talking with each other.
- Fixed not being able to click the "End Turn" button after casting a spell that has only a chance to hit such as the Thunderstorm spell.
- Fixed not being able to enter the cave below the farm.
- Removing a hoed dirt spot with the pickaxe will display the correct seasonal color.
- You can no longer duplicate items by manipulating the cooking or crafting menus.
- Pressing Escape after loading or saving the game will no longer make the game crash.
- Fixed buying items not displaying correctly after being bought from the tavern or travelling merchant when using a controller.
- Fixed items not stacking correctly when moving then in and out of the farm storage or selling crate.
- Items will now correctly be removed from your inventory when cooking.
- The music in-game will loop continuously without a delay between songs.
