Patch 1.0.3

This patch fixed issues with Mind balance and item drops.

Gameplay changes
  • Alert (Mind persona) now gives +3 damage instead of +1 shield each turn, this should give mind the needed extra damage.
  • Mind shield node now gives +10 max shield instead of +8 max shield.
  • Added extra rewards for the starting nodes in higher difficulties.

Item changes
  • Gun now gives bonus pierce damage +6 (once per phase) instead of +6 damage.
  • Added a new consumable cookie for HARD and CHAOTIC that gives bonus to damage.

Bugfixes
  • Timothy achievement now works properly.
  • Pocket knife no longer shows up as equipable on tooltip.


Bigger changes to puzzles and enemies are coming soon as well.

Patch 1.0.2

Patch 1.0.2 brings a lot of bug fixes and some balance changes, everything is listed below.

Bugs fixed
  • Attempted to fix issues with loading in to a black screen.
  • Number previews on cards will no longer stay forever sometimes.
  • Dementia from curse now stays in the same slot and will not give you a blank slot sometimes afterwards.
  • Recovery of health and shield from curses now gives the correct amount and shows the correct amount in the persona panel.
  • Passive relics now correctly requires you to equip them, but you should find more items to increase the number of equipped relics you can have now.

Item and creature changes
  • Toadman now uses the correct attacking order.
  • Last zombie have been tweaked with some new abilities and a bit lower health and damage.
  • Carriageman now counts as a boss in regards to rewards, and is slightly easier.
  • Crown of Solomon now gives 2 life regen instead of 1.
  • Added some permanent health, shield and dodge rewards to the map.

Patch 1.0.1

This patch makes a lot of smaller adjustments to a lot of areas to make progression smoother, and fixes some critical issues with random drops.

Creature changes
  • Drunkard now attacks every 2nd turn and switches to his more dangerous attack faster.
  • The fly got a slight reduction to health.
  • Reduced damage and hp of mummy in the early and lategame.
  • George got a slight reduction to health.
  • Craven got reduced damage for the early power levels and the leech got reduced a bit.
  • All creatures in normal difficulty got a 10% reduction in overall power as well.

Item changes
  • Tooltip for items now works correctly all the time.
  • Ember ring got a damage increase.
  • Book of blemish got reduced focus requirement.
  • Wooden stake now has +2 pierce but only +3 damage.
  • Fixed critical issue where some of the relics where not available for random drops.
  • More unknown item drops and gold in the later levels.
  • More identify scrolls and gold early on.
  • Lots of other smaller adjustments made to drop rates of relics and weapons.

Skill changes
  • Persona skill number five will now be found one persona point earlier.
  • Completing achievements will now grant permanent bonuses that you will find on the first persona point (requires restart)

Card changes
  • Pin card will now allow cards above to travel freely and fall below if possible.
  • Slight reduction in cost of cards on all difficulties.

Map changes
  • If you have met Edith you will speak to her otherwise you get a surprise instead.
  • The floor sigil in the estate can only be accessed once now.
  • Special savepoints have been added in the last spot before you face the boss.

Hi, it's Martin, the creative director on this project. I would like to thank you all who tried the game out and gave us your feedback, we have taken these last few days collecting information from you all, and have a good plan on where to go from here.

We make a small balancing change for the game before this weekend to make it a bit easier for newcomers, and make small improvements on some encounters. We will also amend small issues that have come up that should not be there.
