When you change into a beast, you can run faster and jump higher, which helps you move through the game more easily, as well as access some hidden shelves and nooks. On the other hand, when you are in your human form, you can use your fingers to open treasure chests and collect goodies you find along the way.

To shapeshift, you need special shards. These shards sometimes appear when you beat a beast in the game. Your gauntlets can use these shards to let you turn into the beast you defeated. The more beasts you beat, the more shapes you can change into!

Every beast type has its own skills called Beast Mastery. These are like skill-trees with useful abilities for you to use when you’re in beast form.
