Countess in Crimson Early Access is now live!

Hey everyone!

Countess in Crimson is now available in Early Access. While we ultimately decided to release the game in Early Access first, content-wise this version is like a full release with some rough edges that need polishing.

If you wish to know more on what to expect from the game in current stage of development, please refer to the Early Access info on the store page and Early Access FAQ and Troubleshooting post.

We also updated the demo so it better represents the current state of the game and its features.

We hope you enjoy Countess in Crimson and are eager to read about your impressions.

Countess in Crimson releases in Early Access on May 18

Hey everyone!

Countess in Crimson is finally ready and will be available in Steam Early Access on May 18.

We decided to launch in Early Access first in order to smoothen out the experience and resolve any issues we might have missed internally.

The game will contain all full release content (unless we decide to add more content during the Early Access period) and will be fully playable with only some quality of life features possibly requiring additional work. Some changes may also be made based on player feedback.

There is also a full trailer now available on the store page. Be sure to check it out!

Countess in Crimson Development Update #3

Hey everyone!

We know it’s been a long while since the last update, but we wanted to focus 100% of our attention on finishing the game.

In short, here’s how things are right now: game development is nearing the end and we should finish by the end of February. This doesn’t mean the game will immediately be ready for release as there will certainly be lots of testing required.

Testing and bug fixing will most likely take at least a month, so while a late March release is still technically possible, it’s rather unlikely. We won't update the release date just yet, but a late April / early May launch is more feasible. We don’t want to rush a release of an untested game.

Meanwhile, here are a couple of new screenshots from the game to sweeten the wait:
