The "Camp Ugly" update, plus fixes!
Uh oh, we're back again with more stuff.
This'll probably keep happening, won't it?
We're hoping you're enjoying the launch of It's Only Money 1.0, and as usual we're monitoring and developing fixes in real time! Thanks again for the reports, and we hope you keep 'em coming. Let's talk about what's going in the game today.
New Location: Camp Ugly, and new customisation options in Clinics and Barbershops
Just off the bridge in LaGordo is a new location, "Camp Ugly". Here you'll find 3 new vendors, with some.. interesting new options to customise your character. Why not hit up the barber for the new Cool Mullet hairstyle, or use the camps surgeon to remodel your face to the new "Ugly" type. Finally, you can now just wear undies in the game by interacting with the clothing vendor. You're welcome, we guess.
Additionally, the regular clinics have new face options, and Barbershops have a new slew of hairstyles to choose from.
Carpark variety
We've done some work on the carpark system around the city and you should see a dramatic shift in the available vehicles you can steal. This includes mopeds, bikes, Snail Vans and all the other vehicles you see driving around Rockhaven.
Adjusted Vehicle Pricing
All Vehicles at various vendors in the city are now dramatically cheaper to purchase. We want players to buy a large fleet of vehicles and customise them to their hearts content, and frankly, they were just way too expensive. Enjoy filling your garages!
Some more new Clothing pieces!
Some new pieces to style a fit just dropped. Head on over to Steezy for some leather tights and a range of Bomber Jackets so you can channel your inner Claude. Finer Things have stocked up a fancy new vest and pair of pants. Misery has a range of new emo Cardigans for your consideration and finally, Bo Jumbly has some really gross looking Hawaiian shirts if that's more your speed. We aren't judging.
And finally, an update to the demo and some notable bug fixes
- Fixed the ability to get stuck floating in the air during the second and third takeover missions
- Fixed cars doing cool 360's in LaGordo Valley randomly
- Reduced outer store radio message frequency
- Stopped FTUE machines from being interactable, as this wasn't intended
- Fixed being able to start the Side Hustles while in other quests
- Fixed being unable to get up from chairs during the FTUE (tutorial)
- Fixed getting stuck in chairs if the map is opened
- Fixed being able to gain easy rep by cancelling Nana Dungeons
- Fixed irrelevant actors persisting throughout future cutscenes and gameplay
- Fixed being unable to drop the post game Cash Cannon
Finally, the demo has been updated to reflect all of our systematic, content and bug fixing states since its release, so we encourage you to tell some friends to try it out!
We'll keep at it. Thanks to everyone for an amazing launch.
