The Early Access version (EA) now supports English and is available at a 10% discount. Feel free to add it to your wishlist or purchase it directly! The EA version includes:
- 4 areas – Each one with its own sceneries, kungfu sects and local rumors to discover.
- 2 storylines – One playthrough features an immersive 20-hour narrative.
- 2 playable characters – 10 backgrounds to choose from and 14 attributes to upgrade.
- 250+ martial arts, 60+ weapons, 50 items.
- Countless NPCs can be developed into allies or taken down for loot and power.
Note: Some players may already own the EA version. After the update, the old EA saves will not be compatible due to system changes. Loading old saves may result in bugs or crashes. However, your playthrough progress will be kept to accumulate rounds. Please start a new save file. Apologies for the inconvenience!

If you want to continue playing your original EA save, you can switch to the Old EA Branch version to keep using your previous save file.
To access the original EA version:
In the Steam client, go to your library, right-click on The World of Kungfu: Dragon and Eagle, select Properties, then go to Betas. From the dropdown menu under Select the beta you would like to opt into, choose old_ea_version-旧EA分支.
Please note that this branch will no longer be maintained. If you want to experience new content, please switch back to the default branch by selecting "None." We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

[h2]2. Official Version Coming Soon[/h2]

The official version is in the final stages of preparation. Once the release date is confirmed, we will inform you immediately! We can't wait to share it with you!
You're also welcome to participate in the technical testing of the official version. Here's how:
- In the Steam client, go to your game library, right-click on "The World of Kungfu: Dragon and Eagle," click "Properties" -> "Betas," and enter the code: dajianghu202408test. You can then join the test branch.
This test version includes about 70% of the official version's storyline. Since it's still in testing, some storyline content is locked, and localization isn't fully polished. We appreciate your understanding!



[h3]1. Customizable Player Character[/h3]
- Customize your character's appearance.

- When creating a character, you can choose to randomly roll for attributes or manually assign them.

[h3]2. The More Playthroughs, the Stronger You Get[/h3]
- Each new playthrough gives you one extra Lock Count during attribute rolls, letting you secure desired traits.
- You'll also earn an additional attribute point with manual assignment for every new playthrough, making your starting character stronger.
- Both the EA and test versions carry over your playthrough count from the previous EA version for accumulation.
- Playthrough inheritance can be triggered at the Beggar Gang on Mt. Jun during EA, allowing you to continue progressing until the official version launches!

[h3]3. Character Progression[/h3]
- Characters can reach up to level 100.
- New grassland areas have been added where you can level up by killing enemies both in the grasslands and in dungeons, earning rewards like coins and more.

- After each battle, all party members gain experience, making it easier to level up lower-level teammates.

[h3]4. Mining[/h3]
- Use the Shovel in caves and dungeons to mine ores used for gear enhancement.
- You might also uncover mysterious items marked as "???". Identify these items at the City Pawn Shop—some might turn out to be rare high-tier gear!


[h3]5. Gear Enhancement[/h3]
- After reaching Xiaoxiang Area, visit Hengyang City to meet a swordsman. By completing the swordsman's storyline, you can unlock the gear enhancement feature!
- Select teammates to enhance their gear. The higher their Forging attribute, the higher the enhancement limit for the equipment.


[h3]6. Catch and Recruit[/h3]
- You can now temporarily recruit enemies as allies. With the Big Brother or King of Beasts traits, you can even recruit NPCs as your followers to join you in battle.


[h3]7. Other Highlights[/h3]
- Fast Travel: Click anywhere on the map to travel there instantly!


- Reset Talent Points: Before the Jiangnan Hero Contest storyline of Taihu Lake Gang, visit the Old Beggar in Lin'an City to reset your Talent Points.


- New Features: The settings menu now supports 2x speed, controller support, along with keyboard support for a smoother experience.


- Auto-Save: Now with 8 auto-save slots. For those who dislike manual saving, this is a huge improvement!
