the Age of War is here...With this important event, we have a wealth of information we would love to share with you all, so instead of elaborating on the details, we’ll let the
changelog and the new Teaser 🤩 do the talking. "Age of War" is the biggest updates in the Builders of Greece history, so there is much to discuss. And what better way to showcase
so many changes than an epic gameplay video and changelog? Let's dive right in!
🚨 PLEASE NOTE 🚨 Due to "Age of War" being the biggest patch so far, you may encounter unforeseen bugs and issues, for which we apologize in advance. After installing the update your saves will not work in the new version of the game, but you can still open them after changing the game branch on Steam to Legacy. It would be difficult to show all the changes that came to the game with the new Milestone win just a one-minute teaser... but no worries, we got you! Thanks to
your feedback and awesome suggestions, we decided to go one step further and tackle some important gameplay elements that we thought needed improvements or reworks.
Down below, you can see the
extended list of novelties, changes and improvements.

- A completely new tactical combat system
- New scenario map - Age of War
- New units recruitment and management systems
- New units experience and ranks system with option of training troops in the Gymnasion
- New citizens rebellions system
- Bandit camps are now scattered across the maps
- Improved raiders mechanics

- Improvements to the citizens needs and social classes
- Improvements to the markets and acquisition of goods by citizens

- Rework of the sickness system
- Rework of the faith system
- Rework of the great people system
- UI improvements
- New camera movement options
- A huge number of other fixes, improvements, QoL changes and minor novelties
