This Halloween, uncover the chilling tale of Pike Lake’s darkest secret—the story behind the Honker, a black-feathered creature with blazing red eyes that haunts the lake to this day... 😱💀

Once, there was a hunter named Oswin, known for his pride and fearlessness. One autumn, when rumours spread of a black-feathered goose with blazing red eyes haunting Pike Lake, Oswin swore to claim it as his prize 🏆

Ignoring all warnings, he set off at dawn, tracking the creature’s eerie honks through the mist. By the water’s edge, he finally saw it—a giant black goose, watching him with eyes like molten rubies. As he aimed his bow, a chilling voice filled his mind: “Those who seek what is forbidden shall pay the price.”

Oswin laughed and threw his bow. But as it struck, his laughter turned to screams as his head transformed into that of a monstrous red-eyed black goose!

Days later, villagers found him roaming the woods, his body still human but his head that of a goose, honking wildly, driven mad by the curse 😵

To this day, travellers at Pike Lake swear they hear his mad honking, warning all who dare disturb the dark waters...
