Subverse Community Update: Recent Events and Future Plans
Hi Cultured Folks,
I’m happy to report that the team is back at it with full speed, making great progress on the FowChan update. I think they're doing an amazing job, but more importantly, I hope the new waifu will exceed your expectations. We are targeting early March for release of FowChan.

We promised localization would kick off after the 1.0 release—and it’s officially underway in multiple languages! Our Chinese, Korean, Russian, Portuguese, and other scholarly translators must have have a very interesting time during the process. I can only hope they’re enjoying themselves while comprehending, watching, and deciphering the deep cultural narratives of Subverse.
The Kickstarter backers’ DLC is also on its way! As I’ve mentioned on various platforms, we need to comply with Steam’s latest DLC policies, which requires quite a bit of system development. The development of this solution is progressing.
Please allow me to take a moment to reflect on the game’s journey. We were among the first NSFW games accepted on Steam after they opened the gates to adult content. Our goal was simple: reach as many cultured users as possible. Thanks to Steam, Kickstarter, and most importantly you, we’ve done just that. Since the 1.0 release, tens of thousands of new users acquired the game, with over 600,000 fine connoisseurs now part of the Subverse community.
Looking Ahead:
Once we’ve covered commissions, licensing fees, and royalties, all revenue will go straight back into improving the game. Free updates, localization patches, and some paid DLC content are in the development pipeline.
If you believe the game and the team deserve it, please consider giving us a thumbs-up in the review section. It helps us reach an even wider audience.
Thank you for your support, and as always take care!
Yours sincerely,
Tibor
