Calculate the Truth in Explore: Mathematics – Beautiful Complexity

Hello Universe Architects,

As a curious species, we are all too aware of the mysteries that go unsolved. Throughout history humans have chased down answers to some of these questions, and one field of study in particular has provided irrefutable proof. Some people may even say it’s an entirely different language.

We have done some calculations of our own, and we’ve deduced that it’s time for an all-new Explore Event. Crack out your calculators for:

Explore: Mathematics – Beautiful Complexity
Greater Than The Sum Of Its Parts
Which systems in mathematics were developed first? How did we discover numbers? Just how evolved are we in our mathematical pursuits? The answers are adding up on the new Explore Event tree.
 • Explore the surprisingly fun side of math with 61 total Research Nodes.
 • Learn more about important numerical pillars with 8 new Generators
 • Envision the structure of mathematical theories with custom-tailored icon art.
 • Follow along with italic word problems in the tooltips to get into an analytical mindset.
A Gifted Mind
The human brain works overtime while problem solving. Enjoy the feeling of deciphering head-scratching problems encapsulated in the new Explore Event garden.
 • Fill empty headspace with each Generator unlock and watch the Math garden overflow with knowledge.
The Math is Mathing
We’ve double checked our math, and we know we got this answer right. Add these three badges to your simulation for a significant percentage boost: Algebra, Pi, and Euler’s Identity.

Explore: Mathematics — Beautiful Complexity is available to play on Steam, Android and iOS today at 11am ET until December 19 at 10:50pm ET.

While we finish carrying over the 1, it’s time we share a little bit of information outside of the simulation. Our team is hosting a Let’s Play for Explore: Mathematics on our official Discord server RIGHT NOW! Join in on the fun, ask the devs some questions and receive free Darwinium when you provide us with your Player ID. We’ll be there brainstorming until 12 PM ET.

In case you missed our livestream last week, it’s currently available to view on YouTube. This was our last livestream of the year so don’t miss out on the festivities, Darwinium codes, and an insider perspective on Explore: Math from our economy specialist!

Speaking of the end of the year, our team will be going on a holiday break next week and we’ll be returning in January. We can’t thank our players enough for another mindblowing year of curiosity, discoveries and support. Stay tuned for more to come in 2025.

Happy holidays and stay brainy,
The Cells team

Brace Yourself for Impact in Beyond E27: Galactic Battle

Hello Universe Architects,

While we have escaped the clutches of the black hole, another threat looms over the horizon. We are safe for now; the Milky Way Galaxy is massive and is slowly tugging away at alarming neighboring galaxies. But there is one that’s coming to challenge the Milky Way. And it threatens the very existence of time and space as we know it.

Who will win the battle of the masses? Find out in:

Beyond E27: Galactic Battle
One With the Force
A whole universe exists outside of the Milky Way Galaxy, and it’s more chaotic than we can fathom. What possible threats could be waiting for us amongst the stars?
 • Combine all of your E25 and E26 progress to form a complete Milky Way Galaxy Generator.
 • Spiral into heightened production with five galactic Generators.
 • Leave the familiar behind with 11 new Trait Cards.
Arm in Arm
We are not alone in space. Other galaxies surround the Milky Way, but one of them in particular is too close for comfort. Andromeda is headed right for us, and only disaster will strike once the two galaxies meet.
 • Observe three additional galaxies in the Beyond garden.
 • Witness the chaos as Andromeda sets course for collision with our home galaxy.
Collision Course
Celestial goodies have been scattered throughout the universe. Find them all and reap the rewards.
Unlock up to 13 sparkling achievements.
 • Form a new stellar nursery with the Small Magellanic Cloud Astronomy Mission.
 • Witness the moment before destruction when embarking on the Simulated Collision Astronomy Mission.
 • Harness the power of three new Constellations: Andromeda, Pegasus and Ophiuchus.
Additional Features:
• NEW: Unique Star Pack (cosmetic) available in the Augmentation Store. Includes Pleiades , Betelgeuse , and VY Canis Majoris . Please note that this is only available to unlock for players that are Episode 18 or above.
 • Bug fixes and improvements to the Save Manager.
Beyond E27: Galactic Battle is available to play now on Steam and will be available to all Android and iOS players by 11/27/2024 at 11:59 PM ET.

December is almost here, and with it the end of the year. One more new Explore Event will be released before 2024 comes to a close. Expect a mentally stimulating event perfect for a cozy holiday break!

We’ll be sharing an inside look at this Explore Event in our final 2024 livestream. Mark your calendars for December 13th at 1 PM ET to join the Cells team in this end-of-year celebration! Follow us on YouTube or Twitch to get notifications when we’re live. We hope to see you there.

We greatly appreciate all feedback and support. As our team prepares for our own holiday breaks, we’re looking forward to sharing future updates with you. Enjoy Beyond E27: Galactic Battle!

Primary Simulation Update: Save Manager, UX Improvements & More

Hello Universe Architects,

With a few major gameplay releases under our belt, it’s time to talk about the overall Cell To Singularity experience. We have been collecting player feedback over the course of the year, and we are now prioritizing quality of life improvements to the Primary Simulation.

While we cannot update every issue at once, we have identified some major stress points for players that our team members are focused on tackling.

We thank all our players for your patience as we set up some construction tape and work towards fixing many base game features. This is the first slated main game overhaul, and we’re looking forward to addressing other features in upcoming updates. Let’s dive into the details:
UPDATED: Save Manager UI/UX
If you need to transfer your progress to another platform, access earlier save data or view your backups, there’s now one central location for it all. Access these features through Save Manager in Settings:
 • Click on the hamburger menu in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
 • Scroll down in the Settings tab and click on Save Manager.
 • Easily identify total playtime under Current Save.
 • Make an account with your email to perform Cross Platform Saves.
 • Locate older save data under Local Backups.
UPDATED: Daily Mutation UI/UX
Some of you may have noticed the recent revamp of the Daily Mutation calendar rewards. Now there are additional UI and informational improvements.
 • Matching backdrops for Daily Mutation and Darwinium Synthesizer menus.
 • Added countdown timer to verify when the next Daily Mutation prize is available to claim.
ADDED: In-Depth Generator Production Information
Curious about how much currency each Generator is earning per second? Now that information is just a glance away. See the total production of your Flatworms, Apes, Rovers and more above each respective Generator on the Primary tree.

This update is now available on Steam and will be coming to all mobile players by Monday, November 18 at 11:59 PM ET.
Features:
• Top 200 global Leaderboard players are now visible.
 • Toggling between sharks in the Ocean garden is now available.
 • Visual updates to the Darwinium Store icons.
 • First-time player tutorial experience improvements.
 • Android players can now opt into notifications.
Improvements & Bug Fixes:
• Several other minor bug fixes and improvements.

Expect more Primary Simulation updates in the future. Our team is dedicated to improving Cell To Singularity gameplay for new and experienced players alike. We rely on feedback from as many players as possible because it helps us identify stressors and then we can pinpoint new priorities.
