Early Demo Days - Play Now!
Hello Scribes! Today, the opening pages of Vellum are available for the first time!

Select your magic ink, dive into mystic Tomes, and become - for the first time - a Scribe of the Library!

Check out the Demo from the Store Page here!
What's in the Demo?
The Demo has a specific selection of content from the first few hours of Vellum. Being a multiplayer roguelike, there are plenty of choices to make; we want to provide enough variety for the overall pool of powers to shine, while still being a demo-sized excerpt.

Scribes work better together! The Demo supports full, 4-player co-op! Group up after the tutorial and tackle the Torn as a team!

There's a fun bundle of unlocks to collect in the Demo: loadout items, Tomes, new page choices, and some cosmetics. If you unlock these in the Demo through your Scribe journey, you'll keep them in the full game!
Feedback
While Vellum releases in Early Access on March 28th, the process of inviting players and gathering feedback has been pivotal since the very start of development.

We love to hear about your stories while playing - good, bad, buggy - and how you feel about them. We chose to make Vellum an Early Access because we love to learn and grow from communicating with players.

Discord is a huge part of letting that communication make the game better!

Steam Next Fest begins February 5th! The Vellum Demo will be playable far and wide, and we'll be talking more about feedback from our Community Early Demo Days!

Welcome to the Early Demo Days! Enjoy Vellum, play well together, and let us know what you think!

Vellum - 10,000 Wishlists!

Welcome and thank you so much for the outpouring of support! Vellum passed 10,000 wishlists in our announcement week (a humbling surprise) and has us very excited for the future of the game, which we'll be talking about soon!

Things have only sped up since we dropped our announcement trailer, but we wanted to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you all before diving into more game details in future posts.

Vellum's core team is myself (Blueteak) and Fletch - just the two of us! I'm a programmer and generalist with a few indie games under my belt, and Fletch is on the design side to make sure the enemies and upgrades are suitably inked.

We're also enlisting the help from many others over the course of development and continuing on through release, and we'll likely be introducing them as well in future blogs that touch on their areas of expertise!

We look forward to showing you much more in the coming weeks and months, but for now, here's a peek at a pair of good boys you might make friends with soon!
