We hope you're enjoying your time in the Freelands. We've been busy since launch week, fixing bugs and making improvements based on your feedback. Thank you for helping us make Blackthorn Arena: Reforged better.

We’re excited to announce the Age of Magic DLC coming soon as we kick off what we’re calling Gladiator Month! With Gladiator II on the way, we’re celebrating the spirit of the arena with fresh updates throughout November. Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

• Six Types of Magic: Over 60 new spells to bring into battle, adding fresh strategies and depth to your fights.
  
• New Storyline: Follow Adelina, leader of the Wild Mage Association, as she works to bring magic to the Freelands. This story adds around two hours of new content.
  
• Magic-Themed Arena: Face off against magic-using gladiators in a new, spell-infused arena.
  
• Magic-related equipment: This includes wands, stuffs, wizard suits, and a whole range of other equipment related to magic.
  
• Champion of the Magic Gladiator Arena: He's no pushover!
  

Plus, we’ll have a Deluxe Edition soon, including exclusive concept art and the full game soundtrack. And as part of Gladiator Month, we’ll also be releasing new cosmetic gladiator skins—just one of the ways we’re celebrating everything gladiator!

[h2]Bug fixes:[/h2]
- *Fixed a bug where an side mission to the sewers would cause the player to get stuck.
- *Fixed a bug where charge skills could cause the character to become immobile in certain situations.
- Fixed the bug where you could still participate in other Arena matches even if you had a pending event (but you can still send gladiators to participate).
- Fixed the bug where the model of the character would not be deleted when selling a gladiator to a wandering merchant.
- Fixed the problem where hiding/showing clothes did not work properly when editing a character.
- Fixed the bug where Berserker's damage bonus would decrease if he used Unleash Wrath continuously.
- Characters can now correctly dodge after casting a spell.

[h2]Improvements:[/h2]
- Archers will no longer pursue in melee combat.
- Some AI trigger hints have been improved.

[h2]Balancing:[/h2]
- The upgrade speed of the Life Skills profession level has been rebalanced and is now generally slower.
- The AI will now automatically cast spells more frequently.

- *Fixed a bug that could prevent characters from attacking.
- Fixed the issue where removing a gladiator's equipment and then executing them would result in the removed equipment being gained again.
- Common freeman gladiators no longer have accessories
- Freeman champions sold by players will now receive a new set of equipment appropriate for their rank
- NPC gladiators recover more health each day
- Players cannot drag and drop the task item to the prize column for hosting a competition now.

• Added a champion of the freeman, “Xuefei”. This mysterious swordsman from the East will appear in the Arena of the Freelands and have the opportunity to fight for you.

- Fixed a bug that caused the remaining points of the character's avatar to be displayed incorrectly during battle scenes.
- Fixed a bug that caused the damage of the Injuring Palm to be too high.

- Fixed a bug where the game would not function properly if the player encountered a Freeman/side quest challenge while hosting a competition.
- Fixed a bug where gladiators could be sold while away.
- Gladiators can no longer be sold while in surgery, training Genre, or being tortured in the chamber room.

- Fixed a bug that allowed players to capture Lin and Leif after failing the related side mission.
- Fixed a display error of weapon requirements on the skill prompt panel.
- Fixed a bug where the game would freeze when a seriously injured gladiator died in the Surgery room due to his injuries.
- Fixed a bug where gladiators in a relationship could not be separated and the story did not end after the death of one of them.
- You can now challenge an NPC gladiator up to three times before the Spring Games, and the fourth time only after the Champion of the following Arena appears.
- Missed challenges in Asbjorn can now be triggered normally.

- Fixed a bug where the Freeman champion could not fight normally in the second round if he was fighting alone.
- Fixed a rare bug where the Northerner Side mission could not be completed.
- Fixed a bug in the Northerner side mission where Lev continued to attack the player after being resurrected.
- Fixed a bug where hosting a Venationes sometimes caused the save file can not be loaded correctly.

- Champions without a related storyline quest can now be sold, and they will return to the Freelancer's team.
- Characters lying in the Surgery room will now recover health.
