Whether through purchasing the game, participating in the experience, or providing valuable feedback, every bit of support from you has given us tremendous motivation.

Looking back at 2024, it has been a fulfilling yet challenging year. Since the game's release, we have encountered various obstacles and breakthroughs, and we’ve seen countless players fighting valiantly in the arena. These experiences have brought both moments of joy and the pressure to improve. We have listened carefully to every piece of player feedback, striving to make the game better. Although the game still has some imperfections, occasional stubborn bugs, and there is much room for optimization, please trust that we are committed to continuous improvement to provide a better experience for everyone.

In the new year, we have developed a detailed update plan for Blackthorn Arena: Reforged, and we’d like to share some of the upcoming content.



[h3]1. Wuxia DLC (Expected Mid-February 2025)[/h3]

We will be releasing the Wuxia DLC in February, which will bring a whole new Chinese-themed content to the game. Players will experience a completely different combat style with the unique charm of classical martial arts.

DLC Highlights include:

• Chinese-style Arenas: Newly designed battlefields with a strong Eastern Wuxia atmosphere.
  
• New Armor and Attire: Brand new Wuxia-themed gear, allowing your gladiator to have a unique look.
  
• New Weapons and Legendary Weapons: Classic weapons like swords, sabers, and spears, along with some legendary weapons that bring more strategic depth to combat.
  
• Legendary Characters and Martial Arts Schools: New legendary characters and exclusive martial arts schools, offering varied combat styles and fresh gameplay experiences.
  

[h3]2. Mid-Year Regular Updates[/h3]

In the first half of 2025, we will continue to roll out regular updates to keep the game feeling fresh and continually optimize the player experience.

Update Content includes:

• New DLC Outfits and Legendary Weapons: Expanding character customization and weapon options.
  
• Bug Fixes and Balance Changes: Further optimization of game performance and combat balance based on player feedback.
  
• Free Regular Community Updates: To give back to the community, we will continue to release free content updates, adding new challenges and features.
  

[h3]3. Dwarves and Elves DLC (Expected Second half of 2025)[/h3]

Later in the year, we will introduce the Dwarves and Elves DLC, injecting more fantasy elements into the game and further expanding both the combat and narrative depth.

DLC Highlights include:

• New Arenas: Unique arenas designed to fit the terrain of Dwarves and Elves, offering a different battle experience.
  
• New Weapons and Armor: Dwarven heavy weapons and Elven bows, adding even more variety to combat strategies.
  
• Legendary Characters and Legendary Weapons: New legendary characters and weapons to further enrich the game’s character roster and battle complexity.
  
• Free Regular Community Updates: We will continue to release free updates to enhance game playability and player interaction.

• Fixed an issue where using the rebirth potion without confirming the additional points would cause the character's attributes to become multiple problems.

• Improved the following logic of squad members. Other squad members will now follow the player's currently controlled character more closely

• Fixed an issue where character models were not generated correctly.
  
• Fixed the problem where back flip shot would go through walls.

• Fixed the problem where the special effects description of Adelaide's Legendary sword was incorrect.
  
• Fixed the problem where the enemies spawned in the "Gladiator Endless Challenge" may not be hostile to the player.

• Added localization in multiple languages (since launch, a large amount of new content has been added, so the localization was incomplete until now)
