Apology Letter Before Release! There are only 100 ways to die in the game :(
Dear fellow gamers,
Hello everyone! We are the team behind the game "108 Silly Ways to Die," and we feel it is necessary to write this apology letter to you all before the game's release.
After completing the game and making a series of adjustments, the final number of ways to die in the game is only 100, which does not meet the initial target of "108" as stated in the game's title. For this, we sincerely apologize to all of you!
We have decided that, in addition to the original 10% discount during the initial launch, we will offer an additional 1% discount for each missing way to die. This means that during the initial launch phase, we will provide a total discount of -18%!
Let us explain further about the number of ways to die and the game's title!
In our initial script, we did indeed include 108 ways to die, and we launched the entire project's filming and pre-release promotion with the title "108 Silly Ways to Die." However, during the game development and re-evaluation of all the segments, we found that some of the ways to die were repetitive or unreasonable. After making necessary deletions and revisions, we were left with the current 100 ways to die. For various reasons, we realized that changing the game's title and promotional materials at this stage would cause even greater confusion for both the marketing and the players.
But we should face this issue proactively! If we have the opportunity in the future, we will release a free DLC to supplement the game and reach the "108" ways to die as mentioned in the title. However, we do not want our promises to become empty checks. Therefore, we have decided that until this DLC is released, the regular price of the game will always be discounted by -8%! After the initial launch period, we will also offer a bundle with an -8% discount!
