The RPG Maker Festival is going on until February 10th. And it is a great time to
highlight developers using the engine. We have deployed a new set of updates for the event.

Horizons updates:
Increased the danger of the encounters around the Werminn Frontier Encampment (through the world gate, north of Winterholme). These encounters, particularly the bosses, should give the player a better idea of what to expect on harder difficulty* and speed up the leveling process as well. This is the only part of the update that applies to the base demo.
Added a conversation with Neve that takes place at one of the farms inside the Royal Empire. Must complete Neve's initial quest and her conversation at one of the Frostwind farms beforehand.
Added an exclusive item for Neve to equip.
Greatly increased the difficulty to the boss encounter in the rogue mages lair south of the Mages Academy. The reason for this is that the initial encounter was kind of a throwaway and felt underwhelming.
Also, because they are yqynqde ar ftq efgpqzf oagzoux,** they have to be stronger than God by anime logic.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us on the
discussion board. There's even a leveling guide there for Luminous Skies: A Short Adventure and Horizons. It's probably the best point of contact.
A good chunk of the rebalancing was due to playing games from other devs that improved their own works as well as listening to what other people liked about their favorite games. All too often, I think critics miss that point. Making fun games inspires others to improve their own projects.
We hope you enjoy the game and have a great day.
Each and everyone of you reading this is awesome.

*Yes, the difficulty is called 'harder', since it does exactly what it says on the tin (Increases the damage, hp, and enemy skills to make everything more difficult without getting defeated in a single hit).
