What the Steam Drops Guide!



Welcome, Squads!

The Seal: WHAT the FUN Dev Team is excited to introduce the latest feature: Steam Drops. This new addition brings a fun and collectible aspect to your gaming experience, allowing you to earn, trade, and showcase unique cards featuring your favorite characters.

What are Steam Drops?

Steam Drops are collectible items that you can earn by playing Seal: WHAT the FUN on the Steam platform. These items can be displayed on your Steam profile or traded on the Steam Marketplace, adding a social and competitive element to your game.

How to Earn Steam Drops

Daily Challenges
Complete Daily Challenges that refresh every 24 hours, such as passing specific rounds, capturing crowns, or winning matches.

  • 1 Drop per Daily Challenge completed.
  • Maximum: 5 Drops per day.


Connection Time

You can also earn Steam Drops simply by staying connected in the game:

  • 1 Drop for 1 minute of connection.
  • 1 additional Drop for 2 hours of connection.
  • 1 additional Drop for 4 hours of connection.
  • Maximum: 3 Drops per day.
  • Resets daily at 01:00 UTC.
Types of Steam Item Cards

  1. Normal Cards:
    Feature characters from Seal: WHAT the FUN with either game map backgrounds or simple black backgrounds. These are the most common and easiest to collect.

  2. Special Cards:
    Rare and highly sought-after, these come in three variants: Bronze, Silver, and Gold, featuring characters as metallic figures against vibrant, futuristic backgrounds.

  3. Joker Card (Event Exclusive):
    An event-exclusive card offering unique, high-value rewards.

Note: The Joker Card cannot be traded on the Steam Marketplace.



Trading and Marketplace

  • All Steam Drops, except the Joker Card, can be traded on the Steam Marketplace.
  • Exchange your collectibles with other players or sell them for Steam Wallet funds.
Viewing Your Inventory

  • An icon has been added to the upper right corner of the street in the game.
  • This icon will shake when you earn a Steam Drop by completing a daily challenge.
  • Selecting the icon will display your Steam inventory.


Notification Settings

To receive notifications when you obtain Steam Drops:
  1. Open Notifications in the Settings of the Steam client.
  2. Check “I receive a new item in my inventory” under STEAM NOTIFICATION.
  3. Enable “Toast notification in the Steam Client” to display alerts at the bottom right of your screen.
  4. Enable “Push notification in the Mobile App” to receive alerts on mobile devices with the Steam app.

This is the Seal: WHAT the FUN Dev Team.

We are very pleased to announce that the steam item drop system has been integrated into Seal: WHAT the FUN.

Rascal Rabbit and its friends will accompany us through this new experience for all Steam users, bringing with them fabulous and colorful cards as well as rewards!
Do you want to be part of the squad too?
Now you can delve even deeper into the world of Seal: WHAT the FUN with the new Steam Item Drops, featuring collectibles of all the characters from this chaotic and fun game.

To get one of these cards, you must complete the daily missions within the game or reach the cumulative in-game connection time.
You can get 5 cards through daily challenges and 3 cards by reaching cumulative in-game connection time.
So you can get up to 8 cards per day!

💡The cards will have 4 rarities:
- Common Card (In-game)
- Bronze Card (Events)
- Silver Card (Events)
- Gold Card (In-game)


💡Exchange system
To exchange common to special cards, players can send us a ticket through the following link: https://customer.withhive.com/playwith/faq/game/2009 Or you can also contact the GMs via Discord to help you with the exchange.
- 200 Common cards can exchange into 1 Joker card
- 7 Silver cards can exchange into 1 Joker card
- 7 Bronze cards can exchange into 1 Joker card

What a Patch Note [Sep 4]



We are pleased to announce the following updates on Sep 4th.

New rounds have been added!
  • 4 new rounds.
    - (Waterbomb) The Blessed Drone - score
    - (Waterbomb) Causeway Survivors – survival
    - (Rooftop) Traversy Road – race
    - (Rooftop) Rooftop Playground - survival


[h3]Round Improvements[/h3]
The gamemode of the following rounds has been changed from Team rounds → Solo rounds
  • 4 rounds
    - (Waterbomb) Paintball Strike
    - (Waterbomb) Rocket Attack
    - (Playroom) Drop Zone
    - (Playroom) Sprinkler


[h3]Shop Update[/h3]
  • 'Food' all-in-one costume added for each character.
  • Single Item 'Gloves' added for each character.


[h3]Challenges[/h3]
  • 5 additional "Food" emotes can be earned from achievements.
  • Some of the achievements are changing as shown below.
  • Progress on the Challenge will be maintained, but after the changes, you must meet the new conditions for the progress to increase.

[h3]Gameplay Improvements[/h3]

The rules of the round will be changed from the previous Knock out system to the Winning Point system.
There will no longer be a team rounds.

  • The maximum number of players has been changed 20 → 10
  • The minimum number of players required for a match has been changed 8 → 6
  • There will be a total of 3 rounds. (Team rounds are no longer available.)
    Round 1: Race
    Round 2: Score, Crown Capture
    Round 3: Race, Crown Capture, Survival
  • The time limit for all rounds is now 1 minute and 30 seconds.
    After 1 minute, “Fever Time” will run for the remaining 30 seconds.
    “Extra Time” is no longer displayed.
  • At the end of each round, a "Round result" will occur.
  • There will be no eliminations based on the outcome of the round.
  • You will earn "Victory Points" based on the rank you achieve in each round.
  • At the end of the final round (Round 3), the "Victory Points" earned during the match wil determine the final rankings and winner.


[h3]Round Rules[/h3]
Race Round
  • Round ranking will be determine by the order in which you reach the finish line.
  • As soon as someone achieves first place, Fever Time will be immediately activated, and the round ends when the Fever Time ends.
  • For players that do not reach the finish line will have their ranking determined based on how close they are to the finish line, the closer the better.
  • At the end of the round, you will be awarded victory points based on your ranking.


Score Round
  • Depending on the type of game, a "Game Score" is calculated, and the higher the score, the higher the ranking.
  • You will be ranked based on the "Game Score" you earn in the game, and you will be awarded victory points accordingly.


Score-Push
Drop Zone, Rocket Attack
  • You earn points when an opponent you've hit comes into contact with the dead zone.
  • You lose points if you are hit by an opponent or if you yourself come into contact with the dead zone.


Score- Hit
Paintball Strike, Sprinkler, Bang-Bang Paintball: Rooftop, Bounce-Bounce Superball:Rooftop
  • You earn points for hitting your opponent, but you do not lose points if your opponent hits you.


Score - Whack-a-Mole
  • Points are gained or lost depending on which mole you hit.


Crown Capture
  • If you have a crown, you will have 50 points as long as you hold the crown.
  • If you lose the crown, you will lose the 50 points.
  • 1 second is made up of 60 ticks, and if you complete all 60 ticks, you will get 1 point.
  • If you lose your crown before reaching 60 ticks, the accumulated amount of tickets will not be reset, and if you take the crown again, you will start with the previously recorded tick.
  • In Round 2, the number of spawned Crowns will be equal to 50% of the players amount.
  • In Round 3, the number of spawned Crowns will be equal to 25% of the players amount.


Survival
  • Rankings are assigned in reverse order of elimination.
  • Survival time is the basis for ranking.
  • The user who survives the longest until the end of the round takes first place.


[h3]Other Systems[/h3]
  • Steam items will be added, now you can play and collect steam items!
  • Due to overall game improvements, the amount of XP needed for pass has been adjusted.
  • Japanese language has been added.
  • Added labels for the top menu UI.
