About the Airport:
Lukla Airport is a domestic airport and altiport located in the town of Lukla, Khumbu Pasanglhamu, Solukhumbu District, Koshi Province, Nepal. It is ranked as the most dangerous airport in the world. The runway is only 527 meters (1,729 feet) long, and the airport sits at an elevation of 9,334 feet (2,845 meters).

Map Features:

• Single runway
  
• One-way takeoffs and landings
  
• Extremely narrow mountainous terrain and tight runway access
  
• High precision control with extreme difficulty
  

Event Period:
September 18 – October 7

Prizes:

1. Popularity Award (3 winners): Top 3 maps with the most player subscriptions on Steam will win $20 Steam Gift cards. (Each creator can receive once)
   
2. Creativity Award (3 winners): We will choose 3 outstanding maps based on visual design, level layout, or creativity. Winners will receive $10 Steam Gift cards.

Alongside the festival, we’re launching a major update featuring Steam Workshop integration. Here’s what’s new in this update:

1. Steam Workshop - Community Maps Fully Supported! You can now freely edit and upload maps to the Workshop, and play from over 190+ custom airports designed by other players. Challenge yourself with maps like Lukla, Vágar, Aircraft Carrier, and more extreme difficulty levels!

2. Two Unique New Maps:

• Cheongju Airport, South Korea: Featuring a runway reserved only for emergency landings.
  
• Hamad International Airport, Qatar: Expect occasional extreme weather conditions.
  

3. Triple Speed Button: Speed up the early game for quicker progress.
4. Pre-Flight Turning Commands: You can now issue turn commands to planes on the runway, which will execute after takeoff.
5. Enhanced Collision Alerts (TCAS): Improved visibility for imminent collision warnings.
6. Optional Voice Settings: Customize your experience by turning certain voice prompts on or off.
