"Aeruta" Future Development Plans Announced!

Thank you for enjoying the early access version of Aeruta. We are so pleased to see so many people have played, the numbers far exceeding our expectations! We are deeply grateful for your wonderful support and interest.

We want to draw your attention to the future development of this game and are excited to reveal the planned update schedule and contents!



[h3]◆ June -July: Polishing the Current Version[/h3]
  • Making the "Watersong Festival" event available to play at any time.
  • Adding an evening scene viewable from the bakery window after closing hours.
  • Redesigning the specifications and design of the "Geyser" trap.
  • Adjusting some localization aspects.

[h3]◆ Fall: Major Update[/h3]
  • Access to the second island.
  • Adding new main story content.
  • Introducing new bread varieties.
  • Adding new skills.
  • Implementing a new "Badge" system.
  • Adding new facilities in Bakersfield.

  • Fixing bugs related to the newly added content.

Aeruta Early Access Ver 0.1.2 & Demo Version Update Announcement!

Hello everyone!

Thank you for enjoying the early access version of Aeruta. We also appreciate the many opinions and requests you have sent us. Based on your feedback, we have updated it to version 0.1.2.

This update primarily focuses on improving the early game experience and balancing the casual mode. In addition to updating the early access version, we've also updated the demo as well! In the demo update, we added save and transfer features and adjusted the game balance and localization to match the early access version.

[h3]Game Balance and System Adjustments[/h3]
  • Adjusted the skill tree screen to allow resetting acquired skills using coins.
  • Added a preview function for each skill in the skill tree screen.
  • Adjusted the ability to manually save by examining the bed in Chaya's room (very convenient!).
  • Enhanced the effects when performing construction in Bakersfield.
  • Adjusted the timing for unlocking the Knight's Base upgrade in Bakersfield.
  • Adjusted the timing for unlocking recipe upgrades.
  • Overall adjustments to the amount of coins and wood required for construction.
  • Changed Bollio's bill amount from 1250 coins to 999 coins.
  • Increased the material drop rate from the tutorial boss "Elite Stabby Crab".
  • Adjusted to allow obtaining a special trophy by scoring 300 points in the Watersong Festival mini-game.
  • Adjusted so that the long-range attack disappears when a long-range attacking monster has been defeated.
  • Added an effect above Chaya's head when the cooldown after dashing is complete.
  • Adjusted to allow dashing within the village (faster!).
  • Added key assignments for opening the bag with key bindings.
  • Adjusted the key assignment settings to allow assigning keys to operation buttons using key bindings.

  • Adjusted the durability of some monsters.
  • Adjusted the falling motion of Shooty Crab’s bullets.
  • Adjusted the hit range of some techniques of the Rock Golem.
  • Shortened the cooldown for aerial dashes (stronger!).

  • Fixed a bug where an unintended screen would open at the end of the Watersong Festival mini-game.
  • Fixed a bug where the effect of "Bollio's Construction" level 1 was not functioning in the construction screen.
  • Fixed a bug where some monsters would stop fighting (no more pacifist monsters).
  • Fixed a bug where "Patti King" unintentionally buffed itself.
  • Fixed a bug where the character image displayed in the date change effect would not update until the game was restarted.
  • Fixed a bug where the display related to recipe upgrades would be distorted under certain conditions.
  • Fixed a bug where villagers could be interacted with while on moving platforms in the square.
  • Fixed a bug where the effect of "Skill: Protective Strike" would not trigger under certain conditions.
  • Fixed a bug where Effie would pretend to be busy even after the store closed.
  • Fixed a bug where the settings "Screen Shake," "Display Damage," and "Display Buffs on Characters" were defaulted to off at initial startup.
  • Fixed a bug where assigning keys to the mouse in key bindings would render operations impossible.

We greatly appreciate everyone's support for the "Aeruta" Early access version.

Regarding the updated data released yesterday at 19:00 JST, we have confirmed a bug that prevented some events from proceeding normally.

Hello everyone!

We greatly appreciate everyone's support for the "Aeruta" Early access version and
the valuable suggestions and feedback provided after its release.

Based on various feedback, we have implemented the following updates:

[h3]Game Design & System Adjustments[/h3]
  • Added options in system settings to toggle screen shake, damage numbers, and buff displays above characters' heads.
  • Added a tutorial for crossing platforms in the tutorial stage.
  • Increased the overall size of the checkout mini-game interface.
  • Improved the description of enhancement choices in the skill tree interface.
  • Changed the description of luck in ability training, but the effect remains the same.
  • The script for the Watersong mini-game now clearly states that the perfect score is 300.
  • The gold trophy standard for the Watersong mini-game has been changed to 280, and the perfect score will be indicated in another way in the future.
  • Adjusted the description of label bonuses in the daily interface.
  • Adjusted the text size of daily ability bonuses in the calendar interface.
  • The date in the upper right corner now indicates the season.
  • The experience numbers in the development interface are now clearer.
  • You can now exit key bindings using the cancel key.
  • The message after auto-save completion no longer disappears.
  • Villagers now make a sound when you achieve great success at checkout.
  • Monster location hints are now displayed only after each room's monsters have appeared at least once.
  • Adjusted the cutscene after defeating the boss in 1-3.
  • The low health indicator is no longer shown during boss defeat cutscenes.

  • Improved the stun ability of the martial Weapon Skill: Rolling Pin Cyclone.
  • Reduced the tenacity of the Shooty Crab, its bullets now only bounce once, and the hitbox size has been reduced.
  • Lowered the volume of the bullet hell attack used by the boss in 1-1.
  • Reduced the natural anger increase rate of the boss in 1-3 and the increase rate when hitting Chaya, and also lowered the frequency of consecutive melee attacks (she should be a mage!).
