We are thrilled to announce the release of our latest update, version 1.0.4, packed with exciting new features and improvements based on your feedback!

[h3]🐲 Camera Rotation: A Highly Requested Feature![/h3]
We have listened to your requests and are excited to introduce Camera Rotation! This new feature allows you to move your camera to get a better view of your character and minimize any obstructions from the environment during action sequences. This significant Quality of Life improvement required a lot of work, and we hope it enhances your gaming experience with Coridden!
Note: this is a very fresh function. If you stumble upon cases where this feature malfunctions, please let us know through Steam Discussions, Discord or via e-mail!

[h3]🐲 Officially "Playable" on Steam Deck![/h3]
We are proud to announce that Coridden has officially received the "Playable" status on Steam Deck! While the game was already playable, it now comes with the official check mark to confirm its compatibility. Here’s what you can expect:
🟢 All functionality is accessible when using the default controller configuration.
🟢 The game displays Steam Deck controller icons.
🟢 The default graphics configurations perform well on Steam Deck.
🟡 Some in-game text may be small and could be difficult to read.

[h3]🐲 Changelog 1.0.4[/h3]
- Added feature: camera rotation
- Increase start available skill points, leveling up the first time gives you 3 extra skill points
- Fix bug that made stacks of alterants disappear when moving them from the stash to the inventory
- Fix bugs in forge
- Improve UX in forge
- Improved inventory sorting. Items of the same level are now sorted depending on type. Alterants are also sorted by required tags
- Added an option to sort items primarely by type and secondarily by level in the item options list
- Pilgrim quest fix
- Added rebindable input options, run towards cursor stop, and autorun forward
- Changed player light
- Improved game stability
- Increased text size on some texts and made the text scaling set to higher value if game started on Steam Deck

- Multiplayer Optimization - Addressing disconnects in the Guard mission
- Arena Challenge
- Further Bug Fixes/Quality of Life improvements

- Added Item stacking to alterants and quest items!
- General game stability improvements
- Fix so PS glyphs are shown when using PS controller (turn off Steam Input)
- Fixed various localization issues
- Added text explaining that game needs to be started to host it
- Fixed issue with some Mouse controls resetting (remap)
🏃🏼‍➡️ Items & Skills
- Reduced prices on adding alterant space
- Adjusted balance on Conjuration skills (still work in progress)
- Fixed issue where Ira's Boom Bow gets downgraded from lvl 7 to 3 when travelling — it has now been changed to lvl 5
- Fixed issue with Vigorous skill reseting every time when changing zones, also added "Affects both forms" tag
- Made Marsh Crocolisk immune to toxic zone
- Fixed issue where Plated Roker droprate didn't work as intended
- Fixed issue where the explosion damage (for example in Blast Ranged Weapons) was not displayed correctly in stats (the contribution from the element attribute was not visible)
- Fixed bug where Vital force skill gave too much health back
- Fixed tag issue on "Shepherd" Alterant - it should now be possible to insert it into both armors and helmets (still not working as intended - will revisit for next update)
- Updated credits
🏃🏼‍➡️ Areas & quests
- Worked on environment issues and improvements in Aasha area
- The dummies that are needed to be destroyed in Arena backstage are now highlighted
- Patched up a spot in Aatma Valley where you could get stuck
- Adjusted a current that could get player stuck in river, in Quilon Outskirts
- Added Map indication to Pryia's Headpiece
- Added an examinable text prompt hint where "Mounted Jump" is needed
- Corrected "heavy beast" in rock/wall destroying description to "ramming beast"
- Fixes so quest items can drop again if player loses them (affected quests: Stolen property, Egghunt, Missing Scavanger, Gamblers Stash, Supplies Retrieval)
- Fixed issue where you couldn't turn in Rapids Beast Q if defeated Crocolisk before getting quest
- Fixed issue where you couldn't turn in Coating Component Q during a certain phase in the story
- If both camps are killed in Bandit Rivalry Q, the quest will be marked as completed (but no reward is possible to collect, as no quest-givers are left alive!)
- Fixed so you can't talk to Najji before entering Aasha unlimited amount of times
- Fixed several perasins that didn't give an attribute point
- Fixed issue where you couldn't aim properly on electrical attackable objects for puzzels (such as the instance in Bandit Cave)
- Added some healing plants in towns
🏃🏼‍➡️ New savefile backup
We added a separate auto save system, that saves at regular intervals to a local only savefile with ending .dat1.
If you have issue with a save and want to try and recover an earlier version, remove the corrupted save and rename the save to .dat for it to appear in-game. You will probably be set back a little, but at least not loose all progress!

- Buyback in stores includes all items in store (the buyback still works however it's a bit cluttered, sorry for this!)

- Camera improvements
- Movement improvement
- Puzzle and quest clarifications
- The Forge - quality of life and UX improvements
- Multiplayer optimization and stability (also general game stability)
- Steam deck optimization
- More assignable skill slots - as more points would probably be needed to make it worthwhile, we need to work and test the balancing a bit more before we implement this change (let us know if you'd like additional skill slots, if so how many do you think would be optimal?)
