Manufacture Update – Now available!

🏹Greetings, Sherwood Builders!

The "Manufacture Update", our second content addition to the game is now available!
Remember – the update allows you to continue your game with your previous saves!
With the Manufacture Update, we're expanding our building selection for Robin's Village. From now on, there are several new buildings belonging to the decorative and production categories. Now you can do even more to spruce up your hideout! One of these – not entirely a building per se – even comes with a little sweet surprise. 🍎 As for the two new production buildings, they are intended to make your efforts in obtaining certain resources a little easier if you're willing to invest a bit in their construction.

But apart from the above, we're introducing further fixes and adjustments to make your experience with the game more enjoyable – improved lighting and lip-sync animations for characters to make the game's world even more lifelike as well as further changes to combat for better play with, for example, fights that involve blocking and multiple participants.

Here's a comprehensive list of changes in the Manufacture Update, bringing the game to version 4.04.24.01:
 • Added new Decorative category buildings to the Village Builder (with one rather helpful tree among them),
 • Added new Production category buildings: the Butcher and the Garden for more convenient generation of certain resources and usable items,
 • Added lip-sync animation to make the game's characters more lifelike,
 • Improved icons for buildings in the Village Builder,
 • Added toggle for point light shadows in graphics settings,
 • Global adjustments to lighting in the overland and various locations,
 • Added visual effect that indicates when Robin is hidden in tall grass,
 • Rebalanced Robin's attacks and enemy abilities, as well as adjusted the mechanics of enemy shields for a better combat experience,
 • Expanded system of enemy aggro to better work with group fights,
 • Various AI adjustments and optimizations.
 • Various enhancements to the game's sound effects, improving the overall audio experience,
 • Fixed bug related to errors caused by weapon swapping,
 • Various localization fixes.

Let us know in the comments what you think about our changes. Stick with Robin's Merry Men to see what's to come!

Stay vigilant,

Core Update – Now available!

🏹Good day to you, Sherwood Builders!

Our first major update, which we've dubbed the "Core Update", is now available! We've been carefully reading your reviews and listening to your feedback and, ever since the game's release, working hard to further improve your experience with it!
Remember – the update allows you to continue your game with your previous saves!
With the Core Update, we primarily aim to provide Robin with more attacks from the start of the game, so that its combat immediately becomes more dynamic, rather than requiring, for example, progression in the Village Builder before the attack skills contributing to dynamic combat are unlocked. Incidentally, this required rebalancing for the skill upgrades.

Changes like these belong to several of the update's adjustments that intend to improve the overall quality of life and balancing of the game, but that's not all. The Core Update also includes some new features: a special strong attack for Robin to overwhelm his foes, a friendly NPC to spar with, a new voice for Friar Tuck, and many more!

With this update, the game also becomes available with Brazilian Portuguese localization!

Here's a comprehensive list of changes in the Core Update, bringing the game to version 4.03.26.01:
 • Increased Robin's combat responsiveness by unlocking more active attack skills from the start of the game, adjusting their progression, and by enabling regular attacks in situations when no special attack is yet unlocked,
 • Added a new strong attack for Robin that you can perform by holding down the normal attack input, which gives you an option from the start of the game to deliver a lot of damage at once, break the enemy's block, and potentially stun them. It is, however, slower and costs some extra Energy,
 • Added new friendly NPC to Robin's Village, with whom you can practice combat,
 • Added the item sort feature to containers,
 • Added Brazilian Portuguese localization,
 • Added the Sprint Mode setting to the start of the game, where you can choose to either toggle Robin's sprint or keep it active as long as the relevant input is pressed down. The Sprint Mode setting is still available in the Settings menu as previously.
 • Added gamma setting to the game's graphics settings,
 • Added the possibility to move the camera while placing buildings in the Village Builder,
 • Added extra instructions related to combat in Robin's house,
 • Added various adjustments for general audio improvement,
 • Added indicators to compass markers that inform you whether a given object or character is above or below Robin,
 • Added NPCs to Village buildings to liven the place up a little,
 • Friar Tuck has a brand new voice!
 • Rebalancing related to Repair Kit costs, attack skills, and some trader inventories (Wire has been added to hunter-type traders and Gypsum can now be bought from general-type traders and in Robin's Village),
 • Rebalancing related to maximum item durability, where all items' max durability has been greatly increased (current durability of already created items will be retained, so they will have to be repaired if needed),
 • Fixed bug related to the "Conquer Conisbrough Castle" quest, where it wouldn't be possible to progress the quest after leaving the convoy area. The convoy will now be available again when you return and you'll be able to finish the quest.
 • Fixed bug related to the experience progression bar in Robin's character screen not being displayed,
 • Fixed bug related to fog persisting after leaving the Nottingham area,
 • Fixed bug related to custom map marker disappearing when zooming map,
 • Various localization fixes,
 • Various small bugfixes related to glitches in locations and quest progression.

Let us know in the comments what you think about our changes. Anything else you'd really like to see in Sherwood Builders? We continue working on the game to further improve it, with big plans of new features, so do be here with us in the Outlaws' Village to see what's to come!

Good hunting,
MeanAstronauts Team
